The Hadley Bow Bridge is a great historic and scenic spot in Hadley, NY. The Bow Bridge is the only parabolic bridge in the state of New York. The bridge dates back to the 19th Century and is on the National Register of Historic Places.
The scenery around the bridge is magnificent. It is nice to sit and view and listen to the rapids below. The gazebo in the park adds a nice touch to the area. Although there is nothing prohibiting walking over the bridge, it is advisable and safer to stay in the park. Traffic on the bridge is restricted to a single lane.
The parking lot has room for about 5 cars. There is room in the lost most of the time if you want to see the area. Stop by and see great piece of history and enjoy the scenery.

One of the most interesting things you can do in town is visit the Bow Bridge. Its a beautiful bridge, with beautiful views of the Sacandaga river below, and a has a wonderful history. Always worth a stop if you're passing through.
Beatufil scenery if you want a relaxing spot. Small park nearby if you want to stop and listen to the rapids.
Very cool looking bridge. One lane traffic when crossing over. The water is not frozen anymore underneath and the roaring sound it makes is soothing. No where to really walk around it because of the snow but still worth checking out when in the southern part of the Adirondacks!!
It's one of my favorite places to fish when the waters down after they close the dam, Killer smallies...
What a great tribute to history here are the Hadley Bridge. Even a little oath you can walk down to get closer to the river.
