Charging area was clean and shaded! Nice little walking paths to use to get a few steps in while waiting on the car to charge and clean restrooms. Plus there's a kids play area.
This was a very nice welcome center with a lot of history inside of it, plus pamphlets of what to be able to do in the state. One of the nicer visitor center so that I had visited while traveling cross country. Loved the fact that this is the only visitor center that I've ever found that has a playground for kids.
This rest area and welcome center is a great stop to use the rest room as they were clean. They have vending machines for snacks. There are charging stations for electric vehicles. A playground for the children and picnic tables. The grounds were very clean and had an indoor welcome area that was manned for guidance if you needed information about Maryland and places to visit.
This is the first time I have visited this rest stop and I was extremely happy that I chose to stop here. The people that were at the welcome center were so friendly and answered all of my questions without hesitation.

This is a very nice place to stop and take a break from driving! Perfect location, conveniently located right across the Pennsylvania State Line in Emmitsburg, Maryland. There are vending machines for you to grab a drink, clean bathrooms for you to use as well. This Welcome Center/Truck Stop is a long overdue addition to Emmitsburg and Route 15.
Very informative visitor center. Hey there's bathrooms and a working pay phone! $1 for 4 minutes.

Was clean was serviceable seemed to be safe. Did not see security but nice well it open View. Bathrooms could have used a little cleaning.
Really cool building. They have tons of brochures if you're looking for activities to do in Maryland. There are also some neat and interesting display inside.
