This was our first time visiting and we will be back!! Such a beautiful, clean beach. Parking is by reservation, which does help keep crowds at a set max. There are bathrooms and a snack shack which is great! The water was COLD but so clear and clean. Perfect size waves for kids to enjoy. At low tide you can walk out to the little island and explore.

This place is so awesome for families. You can walk a ways out and still be pretty shallow so perfect for kids. As the tide goes out it leaves smaller tide pool areas. Over by the bridge there's a cute creek that's so fun to explore and play on the rocks.

This was a beautiful public beach. As compared to beaches in the Mid-Atlantic region this was quite different. The beach was very flat with hard packed sand and there was 60-80 yards of beach to use (low tide). Also, there were large rock outcroppings all around and a rock island too. I didn't go swimming but I suspect the water is a little colder than OBX!

One of my favorite beaches in New England. I love the way the landscape changes with the tides and the unique experience of wading through the water to the island. Just beware of poison ivy and ticks when climbing on the island. I felt that the view at the top was worth the few minutes of climbing.

Seems like you need to arrive early or after 4PM for the beach parking during busy times.

The beach is small but not too small. But it's huge with beauty and peacefulness. Even with children playing all around, it has tranquil vibes and we didn't want to leave. The parking is 35.00 for one car but that's from 7 am to 9 pm which is done now on blinkay app exclusively. No cash you must have reservation which I also liked. It's fair. And you know your will have spot.

Easily one of the most beautiful and interesting beaches in the NEast. Aim to be there during low tide so you can walk out and explore the island.

We were there out of season so it was empty. There is a nice wooden walk way to get you to the beach and a big parking lot. Very pretty!

Great beach ….. but for $40 parking (reservation is mandatory ) the service is awful. Trash all over the place with very aggressive seagulls. It is pretty bad and local community must do something to improve customer experience. This is a third world experience.

The beach is good…. But…..
