Amazing caring staff. On multiple visits have ensured my dog had water, even sometimes a treat, when I arrived with bloodied hands post a bike crash on way to coffee stop provided first aid supplies. Very caring people. Great food, lovely fresh juices. Great stop after walks or rides in the waterfall gully area.
4 of us stopped for coffee break and cake . Perfect cappuccino . Very friendly staff. We visited from Melbourne on our way to WA..

I decided to try their Bacon & Egg Brioche
and my standard almond milk Cappuccino
Oh I also choose to add a little more egg & bacon to my breakfast burger because it's all about the protein Lol 🥓🍳🍔☕️

This is our new local - the proprietor chatted to us the whole time and introduced us to some locals. It was fabulous! They have a great range of wines and spirits, and they are open from 6am for coffee 7 days a week! Love it!
For a busy cafe, the food and drinks came out in good time. A really nice atmosphere it's a perfect venue for after a hike or run.
Tucked away from the main road, this cafe has the nicest outdoor garden seating; which becomes more shaded in the afternoon. Perfect for lunch.
Coffee was good, as was the toasted chicken breast with avocado and salami piadina. The palisade is made with flatbread.
In the picture, you can visualise the thickness of the avocado and chicken in the photo. It's a well-made sandwich that balances the bread.
On another occasion, the macadamia and chocolate brownie, some coffees, and a small bottle of champagne were perfect for an afternoon treat. Basecamp is still 5 stars.

Very nice location in a beautiful area near Burnside. The cafe has lots of options for different fresh juices and shakes as well as quick toasts, sandwiches and main dishes. Nice decor and friendly staff. We ordered two juices, a coffee, eggs Florentine and breakfast muffin. The coffee was so good. The muffin was a bit bland and not balanced. The best was the hollandaise sauce on top of the poached eggs. The eggs were perfectly cooked and so nice. The juices were good but they had a bit too much beetroot. Nice location after a long walk to Mount Lofty or around Burnside.
Very pleasant spot for a casual meal. Ambience was good. Staff were friendly and helpful. Prices were reasonable. Great coffee and they have decaf. Good choice on the menu. Service was prompt.
