My first time there after an injury I had today I was in the fast track section and Mrs. Brittany , Mr. Franklin and Mrs. C we’re so fantastic for someone who Hates going to the hospital those three nurses That worked in that section today definitely deserve a raise!! they took care of me and made me feel like everything was going to be OK. They kept checking up on me. They sat and talked with me. We definitely need more nurses like them in the world.

If I could give 0 stars I would! Terrible service! Terrible timing! I literally had to call the hospital before I got here so that a doctor could see my mother…She was literally in the middle of having an allergic reaction a bad one where she felt her throat swelling up which she mentioned to the nurses. 40 minutes went by and no one still seen her so I called the hospital and asked for a doctor to see her immediately especially with her complaining that her throat felt like it was swelling up and her breaking out in hives! The nurse or anyone took my mother’s complaint seriously until I had to call the hospital! Then while I’m here they only came to check on her twice in the span of two hours! And the second time was because I went to the nurses and asked where the doctor was because she came pass the room, telling my mother she would be back within a few minutes and it was about 40 mins until the doctors came.
If you’re in the need of serious medical care I recommend do not come to this hospital go somewhere else! They don’t take cases that are serious to the extreme they deserves! They move extra slow! Nurse and police officers are just on their phones! Just go to a different hospital!

I went in with possible shunt failure. They were able to identify the cause by calling an expert in Baltimore. The nurses there are sooo kind and very on it. I can't thank the nurses enough. They made a scary stay more manageable.

This last time I came in the care was much different. This time it was for possible complications for shunt revision I had just had. The nurses were still amazing but the doctor I had first Betty Dinarte was short with me and my wife. It was the nurse that finally asked me what made me not want to do blood work and found a way that would work for me. The blood work they did wasn't even helpful to John Hopkins which is where they sent me afterwards. The doctor made a scary stay even more scary!

🌟 A Night to Remember: Exceptional Care from Nurse Michelle on 07/13/2024 🌟

On the night of July 13th, 2024, my family and I witnessed a level of care that indeed went above and beyond, thanks to Michelle. When she walked into my mom's room, her warm and compassionate demeanor immediately put us all at ease.

Michelle took the time to thoroughly understand my mom's needs and medical history, ensuring that every detail was meticulously attended to. She was attentive to my mom's physical health and incredibly sensitive to her emotional well-being. Michelle's ability to connect with my mom personally was nothing short of remarkable. She shared stories and laughter, which provided my mom with immense comfort and a sense of companionship.

Throughout the night, Michelle's professionalism was evident in every action. She anticipated my mom's needs before they even arose and addressed them with an unwavering dedication. From administering medication with precision to adjusting her position for maximum comfort, Michelle's attention to detail was impeccable.

What truly set Michelle apart was her proactive approach. She constantly monitored my mom's condition, frequently checking in without being intrusive. Her reassuring presence made the night less daunting for my mom and our family. Michelle's ability to communicate complex medical information in a clear and empathetic manner gave us a sense of clarity and peace of mind.

Despite the demanding nature of her role, Michelle never once seemed rushed or overwhelmed. She maintained a calm and composed demeanor, which had a profoundly calming effect on my mom. Michelle's genuine care and concern were palpable, and it was evident that she viewed her role as more than just a job – it was a calling.

In a world where exceptional care can often feel like a rarity, Nurse Michelle stands out as a shining example of what it means to go above and beyond. Her dedication, compassion, and unwavering commitment to my mom's well-being left an indelible mark on our hearts. We are profoundly grateful for Michelle's extraordinary care that night, and she will forever be remembered as a beacon of hope and kindness in our time of need.

Thank you, Nurse Michelle, for your exceptional service and for making a difference in my mom's life. 🌟

I am from out of state and had to bring my daughter to an emergency room for abdomen pain. She was quickly seen in the Pediatric ER and they were amazing! The doctor was exceptionally thorough and kept us informed throughout. the nurses were very competent and friendly. Luckily it turned out not to be her appendix. We were very lucky to find this hospital!

The staff here were responsive, attentive, and professional. I always feel the AC in many public places unbearable. The hospital was really understanding on that and providing me extra blankets throughout the surgery. The conditions were also clean and modern. Small things matter, and I felt I was in very good hands.

My husband had surgery at Suburban last week and was admitted for four days. Our experience was very positive. We found everyone at the hospital - from security at the entrance, the cashiers in the coffee shop, the aides, all the nurses, doctors, physical therapists, even the young woman who replaced the bag in the room's trash can! - everyone was just wonderful. Caring, compassionate, friendly, and responsive. Thank you all for the amazing care!

I am not really one for writing reviews but felt I needed to do this one.....I had a scheduled surgery to be done at this hospital and when I tell u this hospital dropped the ball.....they did. Thank God for the nurses and staff that work there because otherwise this place would have got a -1. When my surgery was over I was supposed to go to a room(since they were informed in advance that I was to have a surgery) but instead they told me the hospital was full and I was in the recovery section my ENTIRE stay. Funny thing was someone else was given a room with a surgery not as major as mine. When it was time for breakfast I had to ask several times.....never even saw a menu and when the food finally got there it sat for half an hour and they had to re heat it. In fact, never saw a menu once until a nurse came over and asked me if i had anything to eat. Going into the second day.....still in the recovery room with people walking around and the only thing I was focused on was getting out of there....didn't matter how much pain I was in. The nurses were caring.....but they focus on people coming out of recovery and honestly they were the only saving grace of this review. I used to be a candy stripper at this hospital when I was in my teens....myself and my sister...this time I never got out of the basement.....and from what I understand there is someone that does make the decision on who goes to a room. For the location and the money spent...this hospital should have presented nothing short of excellence but I might as well just have done the surgery at Holy Cross where I would have received better service. Shame on Surburban.....I will never go back here again and will request another place. If u want excellence go to another hospital where they actually listen to the patients and treat everyone equally. Maybe they don't need to be a part of Medstar til they get their act together...the nurses are very kind....beyond that, they have a lot of work to do in terms of customer service. The sups, heads, people in charge should stop for a moment and go to a class on customer service if they want their scores above a 2.7.....it says a lot.....need to do some homework. Don't go to this hospital....and please don't send a cookie cutter response about how sorry you are....just get it right the first time and u won't have to do that.
