Parking was $6, the park is clean, the area is also bigger than I thought it would be. Most of the dogs here are friendly. Would definitely recommend a visit!

Love it! Huge, grassy, well kept dog park. We have been going for over 4 months now. Most owners are attentive. We are there daily.

Hands down the BEST dog park in San Jose. Every corner of this giant field has a different feel and vibe. There is also a good amount of dogs that always show up; things can get hectic from 6-8pm but it is usually a lot calmer in the morning and early day. Almost all the owners keep a close eye on their dogs, with a few exceptions of course. There is a $6 dollar entrance fee, but you only need to pay if the workers are there, which is about 3/7 days of the week. Most people park in the neighborhood around the corner to avoid paying.

Just moved to the area and this was our first time here. A great experience. Dogs were well-behaved, owners were super friendly. Real grass (yay!!!!!!!) and lots of toys, water buckets and a water pump for clean, fresh water. Lots of places to sit in the sun or shade. Worth the $6 park fee but we plan to come often so we bought a county park pass. Lots of areas to the park where you can relax. Oh, the dog park is closed on Wednesdays for maintenance. Overall awesome place!

Great dog park. Plenty of fresh water and places to sit. Lots of green grass fort the dogs to run.

This dog park is new to me, although it has clearly been around for a while. For example, the fencing has clearly been repaired more than once, and the tall brick wall that separates the highway from the dog park has a couple of painted over patches to hide graffiti. However, the park itself is probably almost a quarter of an acre, and has big old trees, fresh water available, real grass!, lots of shade and places to sit for the humans, and (from what I can tell) a friendly and welcoming community. Oddly, the small dog park is just a shadeless, fenced-in patch of spiky sand. I've seen fast running dogs actually tear up their paws on that sand, so I don't know why anyone would want to use it! Stick to the large dog park - it's beautiful and I highly recommend it. Also, if you want to, you can leash your dog and walk around with them in the rest of the park - there's a small lake at the other end, lots of trees and greenery, curving paths, picnic tables, and other nice stuff. It's generally just a very pleasant looking place.

Later edit: now I know what the smaller, grassless section of dog park is for - they use it for the dogs to run and play in when the large, grassy part is very wet and/or muddy. I think this is great -- it means that the grassy Park stays grassy rather than becoming a torn up mud pit. The rangers make sure it all stays nice too, which I appreciate. An excellent park for dogs!

This is an ok dog park. Parking costs $6. The dog park is fenced of into two areas for small and large dogs. Overall both spaces are open and large but have little grooming.

On the day we visited the ground was very wet and muddy despite not having rain for over a week. Honestly I think there better parks that available at no cost.

If you have children there is a great play structure in the other side of the park, which can offset the cost of parking with other non dog activities

Great park! Big space and real grass which is a huge bonus. It’s really nice and a great place to just walk around with your pet. Also there is a path that will take you to the park on the other side.
