I like this shopping center, especially a new part of it. It was built a few years ago in the modern and comfortable style. They have a nice food court, nice outdoor area and a coule of higher-end restaurants. A movie theater and bowling alley are the entertainment part of the shopping mall. Highly recommend to visit when you are in the area.
Everybody knows and loves Hillsdale Shopping Center.
Been there for so many years, and the new addition they had about 6 years ago with their theatre and bowling Alley, just gives it an even more appealing reason to visit more frequent!
Food at the food court is outstanding, and this isn't always the case for as far as "mall food" goes.
Love shopping there. Macy"s always has the best clothing, and then there are options more taylored to a smaller budget.
Something for everyone and youngsters love to meet there as well.

Sunday at the center is family day, it is friends day. Its got plenty of shoppers and some stores have weekend sales. Good time to go shop. And very good weather
Fascinante mall with a lot of statues! Love how they have mostly Asian food in the food court😂
One of the nicer lifestyle centers in the Bay Area with choices of indoor and outdoor food options, anchor stores, and a good amount of parking. There are additional retail outlets nearby.
So glad that this shopping mall was renovated over the past few years. The new shopping areas are clean and beautifully designed, including a large indoor food court area that’s significantly better than before, along with several new restaurant additions.

Hillsdale Shopping Mall has been a delightful experience every time I visit. From its diverse selection of stores to its impeccable cleanliness, it's evident that this mall prioritizes customer satisfaction. Whether I'm looking to shop, dine, or simply stroll, Hillsdale consistently delivers. Kudos to the management and staff for maintaining such a top-tier shopping environment. A must-visit in San Mateo!
Love the new north end courtyard as a great place to hang out. Waiting to see how they update and remodel the rest of the mall. Glad they have some designer and luxury accessories to choose from.
A must see store when you are at Hillsdale Shopping Center. The Sock Harbor located on the first floor right in-front of Kiehls is a one stop shop for your gift giving ideas. The store has lots of fun sock prints and themes, fun slippers, Stance products, college team socks l, sports socks, dog magnets, souvenirs, name it 😊
The shopping mall is a nice place to hang out with friends and family. Most of the time it’s not crowded. There are always some shops not in business every time I visit so it gives me a not-full feeling, as I’m used to the fact that all shops are opened every single day when I was in Asia (so active even on public holidays, and those are the time they get the most customers, always crowded) and Canada (except on public holidays, the Canadians close the entire mall).

This is unequivocally unique and the best mall in all of San Mateo County. There are every kind of store looking 👀 for. Its diverse and has huge collection of stores, outstanding atmosphere to spend time with your family and loved ones. Safe environment with multiple options. It does attract a lot of tourists too and lately affordable and friendly place. Big department stores like Macys, Nordstrom Highly recommended
The newer, outdoor part of the mall is lively and beautifully constructed with ample seating and the requisite fountain and sculptures. Plenty of fun food options with indoor and outdoor seating. The indoor part of the mall is more basic and forgettable with the same old stores you see at every mall across America. The food court, which is the anchor that connects the new mall and the old mall, is expansive and inviting with colorful varied seating and decent upscale fast food choices. Very clean and chill on a Saturday July afternoon.
