Hillsdale Shopping Mall has been a delightful experience every time I visit. From its diverse selection of stores to its impeccable cleanliness, it's evident that this mall prioritizes customer satisfaction. Whether I'm looking to shop, dine, or simply stroll, Hillsdale consistently delivers. Kudos to the management and staff for maintaining such a top-tier shopping environment. A must-visit in San Mateo!
South Bay Shores
South Bay Shores, the new waterpark at Great America, is a fantastic addition! The park's design is impressive, featuring new slides, restaurants, and plenty of seating. The wave pool and lazy river are especially enjoyable, catering to those who prefer a more relaxed experience. They offer convenient amenities like lockers, including extra-large ones, and cabanas available for rent. The Sand Bar next to the wave pool serves beer on tap and delicious flatbread pizza. Additionally, there's a Dip 'n Dots cart for tasty treats. Changing rooms and bathrooms are readily available, ensuring no long waits in line. However, some visitors have experienced frustratingly long lines at the restaurants, and the quality and pricing at Pier 76 were disappointing. On the bright side, Shark Bites provided a great experience with delicious food.
Boyle Park
This park is absolutely fantastic! We stumbled upon it while we were on our way to pick up some food to take home. We were looking for a pleasant spot to sit down and enjoy our meal, and this park turned out to be the perfect find. The best part was the beautiful grassy area, which provided ample space for dogs to frolic and play. It was delightful to watch them run around, full of energy and joy.
What really impressed us were the abundance of balls scattered throughout the park. If you happened to forget a ball for your own furry friend, no worries! There were plenty of them available for use. It's such a considerate gesture that ensures all dogs can join in the fun and games.

As a Philz Coffee enthusiast, I couldn't resist visiting the OG location in Mission during my trip to SF. And let me tell you, it did not disappoint!
While parking can be tricky in this area, we lucked out on a weekday with ample metered street parking. However, weekends in Mission can get busy, so be sure to plan accordingly.
Now, let's talk about the coffee. I ordered my go-to, an iced Tesora with creamy oat milk and medium sugar, and it was as delicious as ever. I opted for mobile ordering, and my drink was ready upon my arrival, making for a quick and easy experience.
But what really made this visit special was being at the original Philz Coffee location (I believe!). The space was adorned with mural artwork, quirky stickers, mismatched furniture, and stacks of books, giving off an authentic coffee shop vibe. It was a refreshing change of pace from the modernized coffee shops that seem to be popping up everywhere these days.

Cascade Falls Trailhead
We came yesterday afternoon to cascade falls. It was a great day for hike. This trail is shot and easy for all age levels. Walking to the water fall was super quick and easy the should train up and down is around 1 mile. I highly recommend bringing water and some comfortable shoes and enjoy the beautiful hike under the redwoods.
