Water fountain barely works and is not maintained. Warm water that barely comes out the crusted spout. Secondly where's the pullup bars and dip bars?
Awesome just beware of shady people by the river
Our fav park. My toddler loves a playground, so quiet and safe. One negative moment - no restroom.
Great Location. Near the Wash and Street parking available. Playground available in open space.
Moorpark Park is a small but charming park in Studio City, California. It is a great place to enjoy a picnic, play with your kids, or relax under the shade of the trees. The park has a children’s play area, picnic tables, and a grassy field. It is also close to many shops and restaurants in the neighborhood.
The park is named after Moorpark, a city in Ventura County that is about 40 miles away from Studio City. Moorpark was once part of Rancho Simi, a large land grant owned by a prominent Spanish family in the 19th century. The name Moorpark comes from the Moorpark apricot, which was grown in the area by settlers. Moorpark Park is a reminder of the rich history and culture of Southern California.
The question I have asked since I was a child is:
'Is the carlot there called Moorpark Park Park?'
When I was 8 years old, I thought I was hysterical. I thought that I had made that one up.

It's a really nice somewhat small park but on a street surrounded by roads and sidewalks.. A great area for kids, separated space that is fenced off for them to play and have fun. There's a man made water river that catches all the rain down below of the park that is fenced off around the park on one side.. Homeless are using the fence as their laundry drying spot 😬 Mightily disappointed since homeless have started to make this, very much, their home :(( I have counted exactly 6 tents! It's awful! Will take pics and update this post for all to see.
Full of shade!! We loved it
Centrally located, not very large, but it does the job for the kids
