This plaza is on the southeast corner of Ventura & Laurel Canyon Blvds. It is usually so busy that there is no place to park. This is the fault of no one in particular, but it is so frustrating sometimes.

Moorpark Park is a small but charming park in Studio City, California. It is a great place to enjoy a picnic, play with your kids, or relax under the shade of the trees. The park has a children’s play area, picnic tables, and a grassy field. It is also close to many shops and restaurants in the neighborhood.

The park is named after Moorpark, a city in Ventura County that is about 40 miles away from Studio City. Moorpark was once part of Rancho Simi, a large land grant owned by a prominent Spanish family in the 19th century. The name Moorpark comes from the Moorpark apricot, which was grown in the area by settlers. Moorpark Park is a reminder of the rich history and culture of Southern California.

The question I have asked since I was a child is:
'Is the carlot there called Moorpark Park Park?'

When I was 8 years old, I thought I was hysterical. I thought that I had made that one up.

Ah, The Barrel. One of the haunts of my youth; now reincarnated as one of the best taverns in all of Los Angeles. All of the elements are there. Good strong pours, swell music, happy customers. Three thumbs up. Recommended.
