Our Natural Bridge Caverns Discovery tour in San Antonio was unforgettable, and it was all thanks to our phenomenal tour guide, Celeste! She expertly led us through the stunning underground world, sharing fascinating facts and anecdotes that brought the caverns to life.
Celeste's passion and knowledge were evident at every step, making us feel like we were discovering the wonders of the caverns for the first time. Her enthusiasm was contagious, and she expertly answered every question we had.
What impressed us most was Celeste's ability to tailor the tour to our group's interests and needs. She made sure everyone felt included and had a blast. Her warm smile and kind demeanor made us feel part of a unique adventure.

What a natural beauty! This was my first visit to caves and turns out to be one of the most beautiful experiences. They named several towers like king's castle etc for the natural towers formed inside the cave. Also it rained a day before we visited these caves and the water was dripping everywhere and we could actually see how the water flows through these caves and helps in these natural formations. The guide actually mentioned that the water is drinkable and clean. Our guide was very helpful, funny and provided us with good information about these caves. It seems the water used to flow inside these caves some several thousands years ago and left the mark on the walls of these caves.
We had a great experience at Natural Bridge Caverns. The caves are amazing and the tour guide (Sarah) was awesome. I highly recommend this adventure to anyone looking for a fun day family trip. As a side note, you will walk a fair amount and you may get a little wet in the cave from the dripping water. It is all part of the experience.
Our family trip to the Natural Bridge Caverns was an amazing experience. I highly recommend visiting for anyone that has the opportunity. I purchased tickets for the Discovery Tour online. We were slightly late but the employee at the ticket counter was very helpful with having our tour time changed to the next available. The tour guide was very friendly and was very knowledgeable about the cave. He provided tons of educational information and was very patient with giving everyone on the tour time to take videos and photos. I was able to capture so many beautiful photos and videos. There are plenty of hand rails to assist with walking in the steep and wet areas on path. They take a photo for you that can be purchased for $26.99 at the end of the tour. We visited one of the two restaurants while we were there which offers hamburgers, cheeseburgers, chicken sandwiches, chicken strips, fries, grilled cheese, brisket, slushies, sodas, coffee, beer, wine, and popcorn. There are two stores to purchase a variety of different souvenirs. There is also a restaurant/sweet/ brew shop that offers, pizza, ice cream, sweets, and beer and wine. Every employee we encountered provided great customer service.
There are two caverns at this location, which were extremely busy over the weekend. Despite the crowds, we were able to visit the caverns in batches, with each tour lasting around 1-1.5 hours. The rain on that day added to the excitement! Interestingly, the two caverns are distinct - one is remarkably deep, while the other is exceptionally long, requiring a significant amount of time to explore. The caves are an absolute wonder, offering a mesmerizing experience that's worlds apart from the outside environment. Their breathtaking beauty and unique formations make them a true marvel, leaving visitors in awe.
What an amazing time, we drove up at 0920 to no line to enter, no line for tickets and no lines for the cave tours.
Our cave tour was spot on at one hour and fifteen minutes long and was amazing. We had two older adults, 72 and 66; whereas the rest of the group ranged from 44 to 8 but this stopped no one. There were some fears before entering the caves of ability to walk the caves, claustrophobia, physical abilities and limitations but none played into deterring from the tour and admiring the beauty of the caves.
I highly recommend this tour but of course recommend asking the ticket counter and tour guide for any guidance and help if required as they offered multiple times if anyone needed.
The cave itself offered views and wonders that amazed myself and this tour ranks for me up at the top of my list of vacation expeditions. My son did the ropes course and enjoyed that. We ate at the General Store where the pizza and hot dogs were a bit steep on price. The food at the ticket house seemed to be more reasonable.
One item to note though and one that my daughter was super excited to see was the bear jaw bones. These were mentioned at the start of the tour and hyped up, so we trekked back to the ticket house and the jawbone is in a case against the back wall behind some tables where people were eating lunch, underwhelming. My daughter was really hoping to see a better display for these jaw bones, this is something that should be looked into.

It was a nice experience, we really enjoyed it. The tour guide was informative and friendly.
We also enjoyed the outdoor games near the picnic tables and the gift shop. Pretty humid in the cavern but not so bad. Wear comfortable shoes with good traction as the trails are steep and wet. (Hand railings throughout) You can bring a water bottle inside the cavern, there’s also a water fountain inside the cavern and at the exit with the ability to purchase beverages. Dress comfortably. Picnic areas outside. Pretty tranquil.

We toured both caves in one day. Our second tour was shorter but I liked our tour guid, Emily very much. She was friendly and welcomed questions (our first tour was a much larger group and it seemed like half of the group didn't care that the guide was speaking so it's not her fault she seemed a little short, she was trying to speak over rude people) The wonders tour was definitely my favorite because of the fossil wall.
Family outing so I did it like a bucket list item. The tour was very interesting with so many types of formations. the climbing and Zipline experience pushed me out of my comfort zone. Great experience something I would never have chosen for myself but very gratifying.
Wonderful day. Knowledgeable guides. If you have mobility issues you may want to skip the Discover tour. The climb out will test your fitness. It is breathtaking and worth it in my opinion.
Great place to witness caves. There are two tours available here. They are 1. Discovery Tour and 2. HiddenWonders Tour.
You can choose any one of those or both for tour. Each one takes around 1.5 hour to cover. They will make 2 separate groups for these tours. You need to walk all around the tour. A guide will accompany you to explain. You can get your printed photographs outside. Food and drinks not allowed inside the caves although they allow water. You can take photographs with your mobile.

Out of this world. Can't say enough about this. We did the Discovery tour which I understand is the original set of caves that were opened to the public. Just incredible to be 200 feet below the surface experiencing such beauty. We had a fantastic guide as well. Charming and humorous. Very good at answering our questions and keeping track of the large group. Highly highly recommend making time for this.
Very fun and interesting experience!! Did not expect Texas to have caves like these, but it was worthwhile and incredible.
If you’re into nature and/or history, this is a must visit. The pictures and videos truly do not give justice to the views. They are just incredible.
The tour guides are all knowledgeable. Who knew exploring caves and learning fun facts about them would be so entertaining??
If you’re not into caves but are a thrill seeker, they did have zip lines and rope courses that looked quite extensive compared to some other ones I’ve seen before. We didn’t get to try the courses, but they did look very fun and exciting.

Loved it! It was a unique experience. I bought tickets online for the new Hidden Wonders tour. (If you're not sure you're gonna get there on time, buy them when you arrive. They're fast at the ticket counter. They start on time, every time.)
The tour took over an hour, but honestly, it felt shorter. Our guide was full of spark and knowledgeable. The pictures taken in the beginning are kinda cool. About 30$ for the whole pack. I recommend wearing shoes with traction. It is a little wet down there. I was in awe of all the formations and light show. There are rails for you to grab, and a hand washing station just outside after the tour.
