We just left after having drinks and appetizers. Luckily, we were able to try several appetizers as we were in a good sized group. The wings were cooked to perfection. Crispy yet tender and the teriyaki sauce was excellent. I had the chicken sandwich. Very good. The nachos were very good as well. They had fresh jalapeños. Quite frankly, it was an excellent meal overall, and the drinks were made to perfection. I would highly recommend. We will be back.

This place was absolutely delicious.
Will definitely come back.
Short ribs and salmon are two of the popular dishes and we tried them both. Yummy drinks and good tap beers and ciders

Birch Hill Tavern is a local favorite. Their menu has options for everyone, the cocktail menu is small but each drink is well crafted and balanced. The staff (and owner) are wonderful and care so much about creating a good experience for each diner. Highly recommend visiting them any night of the week!

My dinner was excellent overall. The pork chop special came with mashed potatoes and Brussels sprouts, and a cabbage, apple, raisin, Gouda topping. The Brussels sprouts could have been prepped a bit better, some of them still had the woody stem. My wife had the fish tacos. Again, only a small issue, the tortillas were a little hard, like when you leave them out overnight. Tells me they got heated too soon and sat. Drinks were reasonably priced. The cheesecake desserts we got to go were tiny. Definitely not worth the $11.00 we were charged. Overall, the prices are a bit high for the atmosphere. It's a bar so it was a bit loud, as to be expected, but nothing too intrusive, conversation could continue without issue.

We love Birch Hill! Mussels are so good, Hummus plate was great. Birch Hill salad with a burger hit the spot!

Where to start with Birch Hill Tavern. They are a hidden gem and have great food accompanied by a great draft selection and excellent spirits selection. The atmosphere is warm and cozy. Every time I've been to Birch Hill they always have great beers to choose from. I've also only been impressed by their service by being promptly greeted, seated, and given water. The best way to describe their entrees is hearty, heavenly, and delicious. Their Nashville Hot Chicken and Madeira Braised Short Ribs are tender, juicy, and well seasoned. Pictured is their Madeira Braised Short Ribs which was fork tender and perfectly paired with mushrooms and creamy orzo.

If it weren't for the long wait and subpar service, I would gave given Birch Hill Tavern 5 stars. The food, when it finally arrived, was over the top delicious. The calamari and the sea scallop dip with warm bread were both so good, I would have been content to lick the plates clean and call it a night. But thr burgers were good. Above average and well cooked. The drinks were fine. Nice bar area with tables where you can eat. Definitely plan to be there for awhile though at peak times. I would go back and hope for a better waitress.

Excellent beer selection and very cool vibe. Food was pretty good with a few interesting options. My meatball sandwich was good but needing a bit more sauce or something to make it less dry. My wife got a burger that was good. A bit pricy but a place I'd recommend for a few drinks and bar bites.
