Long Beach Airport is the best and easiest way to fly in Southern California. So easy to get in and out. Clean, organized. So good not having to go to LAX
1st time flying in and out of LGB during Thanksgiving was an absolute pleasure. The airport is small and beautiful. I love that sitting and eating outside is an option instead of being inside at the gate. The bathroom was very clean. There were good choices for food or snacks. The option to board and exit the plane with Southwest Airlines is using the front or rear of the plane. It didn't take long for the luggage to be picked up from baggage claim. Rental car company options are a short walk across the street.
Best airport I’ve ever flown into! It is very small however, it is very well organized and CLEAN. The restrooms were some of the cleanest I’ve seen. Very different type of experience getting on and off the airplane. I will always be flying into this airport instead of LAX!
The best airport in the United States! If you have the option to fly from here you will not regret it. Security is quick, the terminal is small, and you avoid LAX traffic. We take flights from here at least once a month to bigger airports like Las Vegas, Phoenix, and Chicago. Also this is one of the few airports that lets you board and deplane from the back of the aircraft. Highly recommend!

They just finished remodeling the historic 1930s terminal building at Long Beach Airport. However, it’s sealed off and being watched by armed guards.
The beverage situation at the gates was catastrophic this morning. First I waited 10 min to put in an order at the espresso place by gate 4. They then told me they didn’t have decaf espresso. So I scrambled across to the other gate building, where the only other coffee place by gate 6 told me they were closing right then. No explanation. Checking around, I realized that LGB appears to be a militantly Pepsi-only airport. Not even any Dr Pepper!! And I certainly would not be allowed to take solace in a Coke…

A great airport that is fast and easy to get in, drop off, pick up, and get out. The new ticketing building is very nice. Everything is so much less stressful here than larger airports like LAX. There is more than one free cell phone waiting lot. Use these free parking lots when you are waiting because there is almost no room at the curb in front of the terminals. You've got to drop off or pick up quickly.
Long Beach is my new favorite airport. Yes, it's small but it's quick to get in and out. Very efficient. Most of the airport is brand new and they are restoring the original historic terminal. I love that you get to go outside to board your plane, old school style. When the weather is nice, there is something about getting to board outside that gets lost using a jet bridge. The ability to hang out and have a meal outside by the fireplace is outstanding. Love Long Beach Airport!
What a nice airport! The vibe feel like walking on a high street. It’s very chill and no-rush vibe. Food-wise: I went in the early morning but the fridges are empty. They didn’t fill it until 9:30am (3hr gap or more). My flight was also an hour delayed.
