The new parking system is a nightmare! Last week I was doing my Xmas shopping thinking the bar gate has been removed for free parking during busy season, to bring extra customers to the mall. Until I’ve received $65 parking breach notice in the mail. So very disappointed at Xmas time!No wonder The Base is so much busier, it’s a pity because we use to love coming to CetrePlace with the kids.

All good, however quite a few businesses have relocated to other centres around town so it's best to check whether it is still here before coming into town, just in case they have shifted to places like the Base,or Chartwell, Flagstaff etc

Parking at this mall is an absolute nightmare. I paid for parking, yet I'm still receiving breach reminders from the enforcement company. I've tried contacting them numerous times with no response, and reaching out to the mall for help is pointless. The shops here aren't even worth the hassle of dealing with the parking situation, especially when you can go to The Base for the same shopping experience with free parking. It's clear that whoever is leasing this center isn't taking their responsibilities seriously or making any effort to improve the situation.

I am very disappointed with the experience we had at this establishment due to unclear parking rules. We visited for the first time to watch a movie at night, traveling from a different town. Unfortunately, we were unaware of the specific parking procedures and have since received a $65 parking breach notice in the mail.

We paid $51 for movie tickets and provided proof of our online ticket purchase during our appeal to Atlas. However, our appeal was denied because we did not verify our movie tickets for free parking. This policy was not visible, and as out of town visitor, we had no way of knowing.

When checking other reviews, it’s clear we are not the only ones frustrated with this system. Proper signage or clearer information would prevent situations like this. It feels unfair to penalize paying customers without giving them sufficient information.

We are extremely disappointed and will think twice before returning to this venue.

I’ve seen other comments about the car park and it’s really confusing as there is nowhere in the car park to say you have to pay and when your inside the mall there’s a pay machine for the parking.
Other than that, it’s an outdated mall with a cafe and food court with limited options available.
There is a cinema on site. On one of the levels as you go from the car park to inside the mall, there’s some good art work.
There is also mini golf and I believe an escape room on level 1 which I found cool for kids.
Overall I would return but only to get what I need and leave.

Good mall, only a short trip from Waikato Hospital.
Chemist Warehouse here and great selection of food places.
Parking normally ok under mall, not much chance on streets outside.
Bathrooms clean and well looked after.

Brilliant place to wander around and shop. Or window shop. With so many top brands and bargain stores, make a date and come in to see for yourself. A many level adjoining carpak ensures that you don't have to drive around to look for that perfect parking space.
A food court with the usual fare plus specialty food on offer. Even Maccas.
Just outside on the Bryce Street side are seven top-classs eateries. From getting smothered by chocolate to sizzling bbq meals, make a brunch or dinner date with your nearest and dearest or have a family night out.
If it's a movie kind of day (or night) Hoyts Movies are up the escalator.
Don't miss out on the Centreplace experience. 5 stars all the way.

We went to play mini golf. This was our third visit. Surprisingly, it was empty so it was good for us. We played the hole 18 holes. The cost was $15 per person. We will definitely visit again. Awesome themes displayed.
