Incredible food. Every single dish was good. The sausage and fig was so yummy! Of course good food leads to busy restaurants! It was loud and the timing of the service was a bit odd. We got the main dishes first, followed by tapas and cheese courses.
The food was authentic Spanish food and of course delicious. The atmosphere is like a club but you still can talk. Our waiter was really professional.
Great place, great atmosphere and great service - we had good time there !
Cocktails were good and so all food (croquetas, dates, tortilla, zucchini, pita-honey butter) - tasty and good quantity.
Service was great and fast (it is said, if ready, they serve)
We recommend this place

New favorite restaurant!!! Holy smokes, everything was so good! I'm so blown away. We ordered wayyy too much food. Every dish was spectacular, I don't have a single bad thing to say. Highly recommend going here.
Very lively dinner spot with spectacular service and food. We absolutely loved the croquetas, bacon-wrapped dates, and the paella salvaje. We told our server it was our anniversary, and they brought out complimentary wine! Our server also helped us pick out a wine to pair with our meal. The table was more cramped than expected, but the food and ambiance are worth the tight space.
Sorry for long review... What a gem. We were visiting Denver, already had dinner earlier, decided to check this place out per recommendation. So glad we did.
Recommend reservation as we didn't have one. Place was full and talked to the manager for a while. He put us on the "chef's block". I thought great, sit next to a busy kitchen... But it was awesome. Great convo with kitchen staff, got to watch food prep, and staff kept sliding samples to us. Food was super excellent.
Talk to your server about wine selection. He selected a wine that paired with every plate.
Wouldn't trade this culinary experience for anything.

Visited for the first time for brunch last Saturday. I made a same-day reservation, and we were sat quickly upon arrival. Our servers were Brad and Ashlyn and they were fantastic! Even though it was very busy, they took the time to recommend items and chat with us a bit. Everything we had was delicious, but the vegetarian paella was amazing!! We also ordered a couple tapas to share and they were fantastic as well. Don't let the cost of each item overwhelm you, its a great portion for 2-3 people to share. Highly recommend this place and can't wait to visit again.
We were pleasantly surprised by this place! We came here in a hungry drunken stupor after a bout of really tasty beers at a brewery, and the meal was just perfect.
The menu was varied and tasty, with nice sized portions, with the albondigas and flank steak being highlights. Certainly, this was the best of the tapas places that we’ve been to in Denver.
Regrettably I didn’t get a chance to try their paella so there’s another reason to go back!

Most importantly: make a reservation. Once you do, you can then enjoy your time at Barcelona Wine Bar. If you’re not interested in wine, the cocktails are well made and the bartenders will make you something that fits your mood.
The tapas menu offers a great variety, including meat and veggie-based options. I’d recommend 2-3 per person to start, and go from there if you’d like more.

The dinner menu is amazing, but I think the brunch menu might have it beat! Both menus offer an extensive list of sweet and savory plates to meet everyone’s palates. The staff is friendly and you will never leave hungry (the portions are generous!). The food is plated beautifully and I personally enjoy the glassware and dish ware they use. The wine list available is conducive to all tastes and budgets. They have a lovely back patio over the summer as well. Highly recommend!
I will start by saying the croquettes are bloody delicious. We came in towards the end of the evening, roughly 10:40 when they close at midnight. We had a very rough situation with our server she made us feel very unwelcome. Our tapas all came on top of each other which left a huge gap between tapas and entree. We ordered the whole fish which came out super dry and our server had a really hard time taking the head off. So much so that I wish I would have done it instead so there weren't so many pin bones. The paella was over and undercooked at the same time. The rice was mushy with no socarrat, meat was super dry. You can tell the kitchen had no interest in pleasing customers anymore and they were ready to get out of there.
Why five stars you wonder? Jess, the manager, did a great job of following up with us and making sure that the service and kitchen issues that we had were addressed. She made it clear that it was not acceptable for this kind of behavior to happen in front or back of house no matter what time the table enters the restaurant. High five to her and thanks so much for hearing our needs and taking care of it.
She made it so that we will be back and we will be enjoying those croquettes again.
