PA Justin is HORRIBLE with absolutely disgusting customer service as well as big worm with the small locks. Two extremely disgusting men in healthcare. There I no reason I waited over 8 hours all for them to laugh and say GOOD that I left without being seen with there is obvious issues with my right eye. Wt

If I can give this a negative thousand zeros I would. The Experience me and my mother had yesterday was unlike anything I've ever experienced in any hospital let alone Washington Hospital Center. It was the biggest group of the most unprofessional professionals I have ever spoken with seen work seen play with people. 8 hours in a weight room with a festering need infection, my mom had that she had a knee replacement that gone awry. They made her wait 8 hours festering passing blood the smell of Rotting Flesh. They made her sit out there for 8 hours. Then I thought when she getting it back there to take good care of her. Hell no. The incompetency the neglect, the uncaring. I can write a book. No one no Department helped everybody linked arms like a Thin Blue Line nobody did anything wrong. Everybody had excuses for everybody. It was the worst day ever me trying to advocate for my mom and help my mom. Even the patient advocators were uninterested in hearing my complaint. It was awful so now my mother had to get her leg amputated. They lost her wheelchair. Now I have to go back up here cuz I can't get nobody on the phone her nurse a nurse charge nurse nobody but I'm going to try to go with the spirit of God but I'm going to tell you the devil came out yesterday and I had to tell a few people a few things. One white nurse who didn't know nothing who watch my mother pressurize and didn't do anything said something about ignorance when I asked her why are you treating my mother this way? Why are you putting her in the hallway out of her private room. And in me confronting her calm voice just trying to get some answers. She had me escorted out. I had to leave my mother alone to get her leg amputated and wake up alone. I cried I screamed I prayed I begged. And they look at you as if you do not exist. I don't know why people with no Hearts no caring no compassion we're getting to the health field. I don't know why they don't treat these patients as though they're treating their families. If you got into it for the money that money going to be funny cuz God is watching you how you treat the least of us. It was awful can't get it out of my head it's like a bad PTSD moment that will be there. I'm trying to find everybody I can find in a corporate, supervisory somebody has to address this. If you ever hurt do not go to Washington Hospital Center you will sit there and if you in between a life of death or broken toe ain't no telling.

The entire staff was absolutely professional, friendly and despite the high volume (waiting times are a matter of course), I was treated as soon as possible. When we were discharged, the doctor had apologized for the long duration - which was absolutely not necessary! Thank you for your great work!

So bad. So so BAD! Unbelievably BAD. People crying and begging for pain meds for hours. No one helping or even showing the slightest sign of care, compassion or urgency! Extremely rude ER staff who are gossiping and laughing right in front of patients begging to be seen.
One patient who’d been waiting for hours got frustrated and asked them to keep it down. One staffer responded: “is this our workplace or your house?” Imagine that level of unprofessionalism directed at people experiencing one of their worst days.
Blood spills on the floor and someone just covers it with mats.
Arrived at 7 pm. Finally saw a doctor a little after midnight after advocating for myself. A couple of the nurses were kind and so were the docs I saw. I was able to leave around 2:30 am. But I’d never go there if it’s up to me. I’m still in shock that this is a place licensed to take a care of humans.

Poor service, colleagues are not on the same page with communication. The wait times are extremely long. I got there at 6:30pm, and the young lady at the front desk just stared at me. She didn’t speak, didn’t ask me for an ID or insurance card. She’s basically just there to collect a check, nothing more, nothing less. After getting signed in, they checked my vitals around 8:30pm and then sent me back to the waiting room where I sat for 14hrs and still didn’t get seen. I overheard some of the nurses who stepped outside to pick up food, talking, saying they were holding off on calling patients to the back so that people who come in to work the following shift will have to deal with the current patients. Definitely not a good experience.

Nasty business here. Everyone in the waiting room with me has gone to the back and gone home. Staff have no real timeline or way to track patients wait times. Some staff are just hanging out conversing. I have been here since 11pm, with the front staff saying they have no idea if or when I’ll be seen. The staff are so inconsiderate and incompetent. There’s a severe lack of compassion and empathy. I genuinely fear dying in the ER waiting room because the employees have no sense of urgency in an emergency room! I come here because it is closest, but it is better to go somewhere farther away than die in the waiting room while all of the oblivious staff just watch and shrug their shoulders.

The nursing and staff of the ER here are absolutely the worst.
They did NOT show signs of care for me as a patient.

Not a single ‘human being’ had acknowledged me when I needed major assistance.
It took well over 12-18 mins before one of the nurses / staff / officers to notice me and called one of the nurses that was assigned to me to nurse me. (her name I don’t remember but she said she had twins.) She was okay, but even the vibe I was getting from her wasn’t 5* service. Everyone else is a 0, negative, no stars.

This hospital and its staff are Far from organized, shown no sign of professionalism, loyalty or customer care for patients such as myself. They just care about doing their job whatever that is and charging people ridiculous charges and multiple bills.

Avoid this hospital at all cost and their school.

Everyone here is trying their best. Super kind doctors, assistants, security, cleaners, literally everyone. Very humane and patient. Expect to wait a couple hours before being treated if your emergency isn't very dangerous. But, from my experience living all over the world, the waiting is almost everywhere like this. It took an hour and a half to be received at the triage room to check how urgent is my case. The waiting room was full because of big loads of patients.
After spending there a few stressful hours, I have big respect for everyone working in emergency. I can imagine the amount of stress they go through. I mean I was there for a couple hours, while they spend MUCH more time, whole shifts since it's their job, their life!
