The best part is that you can get a great view of Honolulu without the crowds! Driving up is a little tricky, but you will be rewarded with a serene setting.

A hidden gem. If you’re already here, definitely check out the overlook. One of the best views of downtown you can find in the city. Really serene, quiet spot where you can take photos at many angles. Relaxing break from the city with well-maintained lawns and lots of history.

What a beautiful and peaceful place. A must see for any visitor to Oahu, even if you do not know anyone in the military, you will enjoy the history and grandeur of this place. The view as you walk up to the gate is awesome as well. This is a nice place to walk and take a break from Waikiki. Thank you to all who have served our country in military service and thank you to all families that have service members laid to rest here.

Our Veterans deserve to be interred and remembered in a place as breathtakingly beautiful as the National Cemetery of the Pacific aka The Punchbowl. The wall mosaics are an excellent combination of summary and detail around the Asian and Pacific theater conflicts.

Visited my cousins grave. It is a beautiful cemetery I recommend going even if you do not have someone to visit. Free over look of the area is just beautiful. Historical info on WW2. It was nice to honor our military for protecting our freedom.

A very nice lookout located inside the National Memorial Cemetery. A very nice drive or walk through the beautifully maintained cemetery to get to the lookout. Great view towards the city, the ocean and an amazing view of Diamond Head. Loved it here.
