We had a delightful evening at Berta. The food concept is a winner as it's Israeli based, extended to a more experimental and modern cuisine. The location and the atmosphere are welcoming and friendly, the service excellent. I loved the caramel octopus and the baba ganoush creme brulee. And if you are into umami, d9nt miss the Amamit cocktail.

Top 5 restaurants I have ever had the pleasure of eating at. Amazing service and I am pleased to say that I did not have a bite that I did not absolutely adore. As an Israeli visiting Berlin I am so glad that this restaurant exists and would recommend it to every one I know.

Had an outstanding and exceptional meal this evening at Chic Berta Restaurant. We were only two, but ate A LOT as our appetite came with the amazing food. Very unique and creative dishes, presented so aesthetically. Beautifully designed restaurant, great vibe and superb, attentive service. Surprisingly not expensive for what you get and we were given many dishes and drinks on the house, such as drop-dead vegan chocolate mouse with sprinkled with sea salt and olive oil, apperol shots, amazing bread. Every foodie in Berlin must enjoy at least one meal at this exquisite restaurant. Cheers!

Its a very live setting, love the place. Food was also very nice, however for the upscale restaurant and prices i was expecting something more and specifically more knowledge and/or guidance from the waiter’s here, which did not really assist to much as they seem to be always on a rush. But its surely a good option

I was here for my birthday and the restaurant did not disappoint. Service was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. Food was served surprisingly very quick. All dishes were between good and exceptional! The long bread stick was simple but sooo good with the spreads. The best dish was the chicken. So tender and well seasoned. Desserts were big portions. All in all a very great dining experience. Highly recommend and I will be back for sure. Table reservation is advised!

Very trendy Israeli restaurant. The bagel was outstanding with a beautiful smoked anchovy butter, and the ceviche was very well balanced. A memorable dish would be the aubergine creme brulee, smoky and sweet and very delicious. The steak was cooked over an open fire, very charred and well seasoned as well. A beautiful ambience and overall, a place to be. Will be back. :)

Flavorful Israeli food, friendly service, and relaxed but trendy atmosphere.

We were seated at the bar. At first, I was hesitant to sit there as it seemed quite busy, but we quickly realised this was the spot to be at to chat with our waitress/bartender and to experience the kitchen area "show". The bartenders and chefs were lively and friendly. We felt like we were eating right where they were cooking - which we kind of were.

Food wise, we ordered a few breads and sauces to start. I couldn't get enough of the anchovy butter. I love fish and butter, and the combination was so addictive. I wished their polenta in a jar was unlimited, because I also ate that within minutes. Perfectly butter and soft. The rest of the mains were delicious as well. We loved the Israeli wine pairings suggested by the bartender. If only we could have brought the bottle home with us!

Overall, a great experience. I'd definitely come back again!

Just wow?! What an experience. Definitely get a seat at the bar to get the full experience. Spoiler: get all your savings together, but it is definitely worth it.
