It’s a beautiful place! Our guide for the tour of the house was so knowledgeable and the house is gorgeous! After our tour, we walked the grounds. We had a wonderful walk! I highly recommend visiting the Locust Grove Estate. We will definitely be back.
We loved the visit yesterday and truly enjoyed the Christmas feel they have set up throughout the mansion.
We've held our non-profit fundraiser here 2 years running, and we couldn't be happier. Beautiful landscapes, beautiful inside, clean and lovely bathrooms and kitchens
Such a beautiful location for weddings and portrait sessions. It's one of my favorite locations to photograph at & also just walk around & enjoy the scenery & gardens.
Locust Grove Estate was a great place to walk or hike. The grounds were nice and trails through wooded areas were very peaceful. There is a nice visitor's center with restrooms where one may pick up a map of trails on the estate. We did not tour the home during this visit due to the perfect weather for being outdoors.
Lucky enough to attend a wedding here and we were very impressed. the staff did a great job with setup and breakdown and keeping the tables neat and the water glasses filled. beautiful inside and out!
I've been here several times to tour the estate, hike the trails & walk the garden. This time I went for their Sunset Sensations Event. Food & Wine pairing with chef and wine expert discussing what is being served. Fun and educational. Really enjoyed! 🍷
This is a very ecclectic house. The history of the house is from the young family vs Samuel Morse himself but there is a nice exhibit of Morse artifacts in the visitor center. Great tour guide and beautiful peony collection! Fairy house all so pretty!

Visited the harvest hunt today...the themed pumpkins tied into family history were fun although they didnt have quite the same flair as the fairy houses in the spring. Dahlia garden was still looming beautiful!

Cool spot to go for a walk and see some beautiful greenery! Staff was amazingly friendly. They were doing a Fairy House hunt and the houses were so cute!
What a perfect place for a wedding- especially for couples who are looking for something more than outdoor photos. The grounds and paths are spectacular, but even more, so is being able to incorporate elements of the main building- and even indoors! I also do recommend an evening stroll for a few nighttime photos.
