Medium size park, well maintained.
Plenty of options of adult players- tennis , basketball. Kids play area is also there.

Beautiful park designed by John T. Withers, nationally renowned landscape architect, around the turn of the century inspired by the "City Beautiful" movement. The park includes an historical marker for the Morris Canal Historic District. The Morris Canal ran close to here for almost a century until being abandoned in 1924. Also note the cannon in the park to commemorate the victory of Admiral Dewey at Manila Bay. And the bust of George Washington. Nice views of the Manhattan skyline somewhat obscured by foliage.

Definitely a 5 star park. Easy parking. Clean and well maintained. Playground has a fun climbing piece for older kids and smaller slides play structure for the littles. Tennis courts are lit and the basketball courts are clean. We didn't walk past the baseball field but it also looks nice. It was quiet and not busy on a Saturday afternoon.

If they build it, they still won't come. If you have only 1 kid they may be bored out of their mind. This is an okay playground. Has features seems like it can hold a lot of kids but the features aren't great. They do have a splash pad.

Next to the light rail stop, a couple of basketball courts and tennis courts, area for the kids. The stairs that lead from the bottom part to top part are a good exercise spot.

Fun place for kids .however I feel there is need for restroom to be available and we left when it started to rain coz there was no place to hide

Not sure why the picture shows the view of the Statue of Liberty. Bayside Park is a beautiful playground. Large playground and a large area for the children can enjoy sprinklers. Top of the line water area. My grandson loves this playground. He tells me he wants to go to the "Big Park". So sweet, it's a little bit of a walk from home but completely worth. So happy I found this playground. He's enjoying his summer. ❤

It's changed since I last saw it more things to do now more basketball courts play area for the kid's a water part is there and tennis courts plus a baseball field and the lite rail is right there
