Nice spacious hotel that is kept very clean. The staff did there best to accomadate at all times & also arranged a moped to ride around. Room view was overlooking parts of Halong Bay & the large pool below. Decent buffet breakfast that has everything you need. Great accomadation option if you are in the Halong Bay area!
This hotel is dated but very clean! Staff is beyond nice, I felt very welcomed. Pool area is nice, they have a kid section as well, there are some nice areas for taking cool pics. Ice cream is complementary next to the pool. Restaurant is nice and spacy, you have Vietnamese and western food. Everything was delicious! And get this - happy hour lasts for 6h! Ahaha no wonder everyone is so happy and smilling! Right across the street is the pedestrian street, huge square where you have the food market, music, fun area for kids, and 900m straight is the Beach! Clubs, cafés, chill out places, everything is right there. The view is amazing especially if you are on a higher floor. I was on 10th floor and I loved it! Every recommendation!
May be an older building but service standards are there. Rooms are clean. Staff are enthusiastic. Housekeeping tidyed up room while we were gone for breakfast. Parking available. Pool is clean. Mattress is worn, sunken and seems to have lost it's enthusiasm.
The sales overcharged me a room and no bill given. Average breakfast, room full of dust covered all corners and still rubbish under the bed. This is a 3 star hotel and supbar to a 4 star one.
Front-desk staff led us straight to a predatory taxi that went one round around the city before dropping us to his friends at the ferry terminal who wanted to price gouge us. We got off the cab and multiple people ran up and started screaming at us. The hotel itself... service by the front-desk staff is frankly embarrassing for a four-star hotel. Level 1 toilets were filthy. Lifts were a walking hazard from all the pool water that wasn't cleaned. The front of the hotel also features a park with clubbing music that in the words of another reviewer, "tortures tourists' ears." I think it does far worse than that, and it never stops. The food's ok though. Novotel, please do a lot better.
This is the hotel we visited on the last day of our Vietnam trip. The interior was clean and the sea view was great. It was a pity that there were not many people in the night market in the square in front of the hotel because it was raining, but the view of the pool at the top of the hotel was really nice. This is a really good hotel for the price.
