The atmosphere is what really draws a lot of people. Outdoor seating. But where are all the napkins?
Let me say just one thing: the kale Caesar’s salad with the crispy chickpeas is one of the best salads I’ve ever found anywhere (and I got it in a vegan version). The sweet potato tartine was also perfect. Great tea, absolutely beautiful space, laptop-friendly, good vibes, all around an excellent place that makes me wish I was in SF more often just so I could go there more.
The outdoor garden is the perfect spot for breakfast when it’s warm in SF. We had no trouble grabbing a spot to sit and stayed for over an hour.
You order at the bar and they make the drinks right away and give you a number for your food. The cantaloupe agua fresca was so flavorful and refreshing.
We ordered the smoked salmon tartine and the friend egg sandwich. The tartine was fresh and delicious, the herbed cheese was so soft 🤤. The lemon aioli was the highlight of the fried egg sandwich. Next time I definitely want to try the hot korean sandwich.
As a treat we had the choco hazelnut croissant. sooooo good!

Really the only reason you should come here for is the vibe. The food quantities are tiny, yet expensive, and taste normal. There will probably be a long line just to order. They make your drinks right away though which is good.
The indoor and outdoor seating are all great and good vibes for working, relaxing, or chatting.
There should be easy parking around here. But yeah the line could get long (as in it takes a long time even if it doesn't look that long).
Otherwise service and stuff were good. Just not worth it for me since the food options were so disappointing.

This place is fantastic, everything a cafe should be! The garden seating area is a little oasis away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Service is great, food and drinks are top notch, made with care and quality ingredients. Do yourself a favor and swing by!
Stable Cafe is great. The food and service are perfect. The coffee is perfect. This morning I had a perfect Americano and a perfect fried egg sandwich with bacon. If only Stable Cafe could be magically transported to a charming location instead of San Francisco. Stable Cafe is great. It's almost got a country vibe to the place. I love the peach trees in the backyard.
I also recommend the Smoked Salmon Tartine.
If you sit next to people talking, more than likely they will be using the word "like" in a superfluous manner indicative of California slang. "And I was like, and she was like, and we were all like .."
Also some of the clientele cannot fathom I would go to this place only for food and no caffeine.

I tried the Avocado toast without the cheese & the London Fog with almond milk - they were both yummy! 😋😋 My companion liked their matcha beverage as well as the egg toast.
The place itself is very pretty - with a lot of plants and paintings! They’ve outdoor seating in the ‘secret garden’ as well!
I’ll go back here on my next visit to SFO! 🙂

Ordered inside and had options of sitting inside on the first floor or on the loft or outside in the garden. There is good wind coverage even for a fairly windy day. Iced and drip coffee were great. Would not get an iced matcha latte again as the proportions were a bit off.
