So nice we came back twice!
I brought my partner to vancouver for the first time and this spot was right by our Airbnb. I’ve been talking up how good sushi is in Vancouver and this place lived up to all expectations. Everything tasted fresh and flavorful. Recommend trying their chopped scallop nigiri and dynamite roll. We had it both in the restaurant and to go and both times were perfect. The prices are fair for the area, two of us ate for $40. Can’t recommend enough if you’re in the area!

Rise Over Run
Great drinks and food. We walked in and sat indoors on a saturday night. It was pretty cold and we sat next to a door that slammed shut as staff came in from tables outside. Would probably be worth making a reservation for a seat with a heater and a view.
Stable Cafe
The outdoor garden is the perfect spot for breakfast when it’s warm in SF. We had no trouble grabbing a spot to sit and stayed for over an hour.
You order at the bar and they make the drinks right away and give you a number for your food. The cantaloupe agua fresca was so flavorful and refreshing.
We ordered the smoked salmon tartine and the friend egg sandwich. The tartine was fresh and delicious, the herbed cheese was so soft 🤤. The lemon aioli was the highlight of the fried egg sandwich. Next time I definitely want to try the hot korean sandwich.
As a treat we had the choco hazelnut croissant. sooooo good!

Everything was delicious!! I’m still thinking about the porcini donuts 🤤 I recommend sharing dishes so you can get a wide variety of dishes to try! The sardine chips were so tasty and the peach pasta was a flavour combo we hadn’t had before, very good! Will definitely be recommending for a fancier night out.
Only qualm was our cocktail order took quite a while and didn’t arrive until after our appetizers. Tasted great! just would have been great if the drinks arrived together.
