We stumbled upon the restaurant when we were looking for a place to eat near Rosenthaler platz. The atmosphere of the restaurant is really cool and reminds you of traditional Japanese culture. We didn't have a reservation but as the place wasn't crowded were given free choice as where to sit.
The homemade cold drinks are really tasty, especially the one with blueberry and calpico. The deep fried squid as a starter with aioli was great. As main dishes, we had crunchy salmon rolls, curry with crunchy chicken and rice, and roasted salmon served with grilled vegetables. All of the dishes were good, my favorite was the curry.

Food was delicious and the sake tasty, but the service... some of the worst I've had in Berlin! :(
We were served by a man and a woman who seemed to be the boss.
The young man seemed very stressed to the point of rudeness.
Every single exchange made that evening with both those people was unpleasant and abrupt. Not a smile, not a please or any politeness. I should point out the restaurant was not full, this was towards the later evening, so rather calm.
At some point our waiter came to take our dishes away and had the roughest way of asking us if this drink or that dish was finished or not, as if in a rush (there was still about an hour before they closed!)
He was in such a rush that he didn't realize my bottle was still full and grabbed it by shoving his finger in it..... and brought it back when I called him out.. In a case like that, I feel like one normally apologizes and offers a free drink in exchange... But nothing, apart from a mild "sorry". I understand working in restaurants can be stressful (I have in service myself plenty), but this was really bad, and made it a most unpleasant experience thanks to the rude service..which is a shame, considering the food is rather delicious! :/

Aiko in Berlin is a culinary delight that seduces the senses with its impeccable presentation, exquisite taste, and artful decor. Each dish is an ode to craftsmanship and flavor, creating a harmonious symphony on the plate.
Loved this place! The restaurant is so cute and the food was delicious with a very extensive menu and gluten free sushi! Good ambient, friendly staff. We will come back
My favourite place for sushi in Berlin! Calming atmosphere, nice interiors, and reasonable prices. It's a perfect spot for lunch if you prefer quieter places
-1 for service as the wifi didn't work for me, apart from that my experience was perfect.

I love this place. The design so nice. There is many gluten free options. The prices are good. I like the sushi.
I had the Beef Ramen (under Udon Noodles in the menu) where one could swap out the Udon noodles with Ramen noodles. We had a sliced beef starter which was medium rare, well balanced spice-wise and quite tasty. The Ramen was tasty but could have been better ! It lacked Oomph !! The Service is Exceptional and the atmosphere is great !! Good place for a date or a meal with family/friends... Decently priced as well !
Had a great spontaneous dinner night here. Really liked the super nice service, the drinks and the food. Especially recommending the Yaki Sake main menu. We sat outside in the back patio. Also the place really is very dog friendly ❤️🐾. Our little one got a little dog treat upon arrival and we got an extra Lage table that had room for him too 🥰 Highly recommended.
