Did a Sunday Brunch; just a party of 2 around noon. We did the $30 bottomless for 1.5 hrs. The drinks were good and the staff kept our glasses full. Brunch was delicious. The DJ played great tunes from the 90s to today’s current music. For brunch I did the shrimp with grits and it was very filling. My cousin had the chicken nachos. I’m definitely coming back for the chicken nachos!!! A little confusion was at the front desk with the hostess. Nothing that could have ruined the experience (it was a beautiful sunny day) but… I think it needs to be clear on how the host responds to questions from guest, and also if someone books a reservation and the policy is “you can be sat outside or indoors; based on what we decide when you arrive…” then specify that with guest during the reservation phase. You can not expect anyone to just accept you sitting them outdoors against their will; and the weather is also crisp because it’s autumn. The outdoors was not heated so be very clear on the policy upfront. Other than that minor hiccup, the entire experience was a cool vibe. Welcoming, and it was great to see so many familiar faces from the community. ~ Tiffany
Cute spot in Harlem. Nice turn-up spot for a Sunday Brunch. Vibes are great, the food ok. (Rum punch needs a little extra kick)
Came here for anniversary brunch Amazing food and service. Everything was delicious!!! The music was a little too loud but definitely my favorite brunch spot in Harlem.
First off, TRUFFLE FRIES. Order them as soon as you sit down. I love sweet potato fries and truffle. So this is an automatic hit. The shrimp and grits were outstanding. They truly did great job. The bottomless sangria was the business. The DJ is great as well. Not tooooo loud like other places. Angel of Harlem is a great experience but they do have a time limit for the tables.
The chicken Pattie’s with the sauce they gave you were so freaking delicious. We should’ve ordered more. The tacos where good too just a bit dry and the Mac and cheese was a little watery and didn’t really have much flavor but overall it was good. Now the drinks… we’re strong af 😅 but still delicious. They had indoor and outdoor seating which was nice after a long day at the beach. Would definitely go to try more food.
Always have such an amazing time. Vibes are great, music is on point, food is A1, drinks were lovely & staff is extremely attentive. I went on a night Cynthia was bartending and she was just amazing. Made me guests & I very comfortable talking with her.
I went there this Sunday for brunch. The wait time for food was ridiculous! I arrived around 3 p.m. and didn't receive my food until 4:20 p.m. I ordered the French toast breakfast, and my friend ordered the chicken and waffles. My food was mediocre, disappointing, and didn't taste fresh. One of the worst plates of food I've eaten at a restaurant I've never had such horrible French toast and eggs in my life. It tasted like hospital food; the eggs and fresh toast were very bland and had no flavor, and whatever sauce they had surrounding my French toast tasted rancid. I had to force myself to eat it because I had been drinking alchol on an empty stomach for about an hour and a half, and I couldn't wait another hour for another dish. Overall, my meal was not really edible; it tasted horrible, but I had no choice but to eat it. I tried the chicken from the chicken and waffles, and it also lacked flavor as if they didn't season the chicken well, but it was still better than the French toast meal I had. For the bottomless, we had rum punch and mimosas. The rum punch was okay, not the best. The mimosas weren't good at all, which is surprising because how do you mess up champagne and orange juice? The orange juice wasn't fresh, and the champagne was probably really cheap.
However, the music and crowd were great, but this place seems to be overrated, and the food and service need to be greatly improved. Overall, I wouldn't care to return or suggest this place, and I couldn't believe I had such horrible-tasting food🤢 and the bill came up to above 160$ which was shocking.

We had a really good time. This was actually our third time visiting this establishment and wanted to bring some friends with us.
Our first visit was in January 2019, whereas we stumbled upon this place by accident.
Here's part of the story.
We attended an All Black party on a Saturday night at The Flatiron Hotel in Manhattan, where we stayed overnight. The following morning, we decided to have Breakfast/Brunch at Melba's up the street in Harlem.
Walking back to the subway, we had stopped at the corner of where Angel of Harlem is located waiting for traffic to pass. Then we heard music, sounds of people having a good time and the windows were rattling from the beat. So we decided to go inside and check this place out. The place was packed. The wait staff was friendly and escorted us to the bar until a table became available, which was over near the DJ. Folks seated in the U-shaped tables invited us to sit with them for the time being. We ended up ordering food and drinks and ended dancing with everyone seated from the DJ booth to the end of the bar, or should I say the whole right side of the building.
Needless to say, we walked into the Angel of Harlem at 11am, on a Sunday, and did not leave until well after 5pm that afternoon and had an absolute blast.
