If you are thinking of coming here, come. It’s so nice, well kept, plenty to do and you won’t regret it. There are stores and shops across the street. Plenty of walking areas with great views. The caves of winds is accessible through the park. Plenty of parking that’s only 10 dollars to get in. I can imagine it gets busy during the weekends and summer times but in Nov on a weekday it was lovely.
We visited the park in November, and there was no waiting for the one activity that was open. The views were beautiful, but the main attraction (maid of the mist) was closed while the Canadians were still running their boats. I planned all these interesting activities that I was disappointed to find were all in Canada. Do not come to the American side without a passport. Canada has many more options for activities. Cave of the winds was the nicest view on the American side. I was disappointed to see Canada had so many more attractions, but we will be armed with a passport next time.
Niagara Falls is amazing! The water is super powerful and looks beautiful. There's mist in the air, loud water sounds, and cool rainbows. You can see it from different spots or take a boat tour. Lots of people go, especially during busy times. It's a must-see – nature at its best.
very beautiful views of the nature
the falls were magnificent and eye catching
we have different view points to go and watch the falls
some of them were restricted during this season due to the weather conditions (cool weather)
the restrooms are clean and access wherever you go
the only thing is that i was not able to get into the ferry and go near the falls due to the recent closure of ferry.
Some people shared their views that their
experience from the Canadian side of the falls is said to be more positive compared to that of the American side.

Here's the thing. If you want that classic view of the falls from the viewpoints you'll have to cross into Canada. The USA side doesn't have the POV you were thinking.
The way to get the views from US side would be to go on maid of the mist or the observation deck (sort of)
Otherwise, Lots of paths to stroll around. Come in late October for the wonderful fall colors, though a lot of the shops and such were closed for the season.
Parking is $10. Senior discount available or of you have a state pass it'll work here.

Every minute spend here was worth it. It’s just beautiful to be here and when you go on ride if you are lucky you can witness rainbows. WHEN YOU ARE ON RIDE JUST STAND ANYWHERE NEAR RAILING AND WHOLE COMING BACK YOU CAN RECORD 360 VIEW OF THE PLACE BECAUSE THEY ROTATE THE WHOLE BOAT.
Don’t not miss sunset and light show just after the sun set. It will be very windy out there so please wear full clothes.

Niagara Falls State Park is a stunning natural wonder that offers a variety of attractions and activities for visitors of all ages. It is the oldest state park in the United States and the birthplace of the American conservation movement. It is open 365 days a year, 24 hours a day, and has no admission fee.
The park allows you to get closer to the falls than anywhere else. You can also witness the spectacular illumination and fireworks shows that light up the falls at night.
The park also has a range of dining options, from casual to fine dining. You can savor a delicious meal with a panoramic view of the falls at the Top of the Falls Restaurant, or enjoy a snack at one of the many concession stands throughout the park. You can also shop for souvenirs and gifts at the park's gift shops or at the nearby Old Falls Street USA.

Lots of wonderful places to take pictures and see the majesty of the falls! Plenty of places to sit and take a breather with all the walking, or grab a ride on the trolley to shuttle between the falls locations. Stay late to see the falls lit up at night and the small (5-10 minute) but very nice fireworks at 10! Worth seeing at least once.
Unbelievably GORGEOUS as always regardless of the season. The nature along with the scenery of the Niagara Falls is breathtaking. It is so beautiful that words cannot justify how incredible it is to explore the park. There's so much to do and see that 1 week here is just not enough. Regardless if you are exploring the Niagara Falls from Canada or New York side. It is a MUST visit in this lifetime. No videos or photos can capture all of its beauty, just plain God's masterpiece. ❤️
My aunt was visiting from NYC and she wanted to go to the Niagara Falls. We were there on Monday at around 4:30-5 PM.
It was a beautiful afternoon and it wasn’t too crowded. We took many pictures and enjoyed the nice walk from the Main Island to Goat Island. They had plenty of restrooms and they were somewhat clean.
By the time we were done walking, it was a little past 6 PM. We decided to stop at the gift shop on the way back to the parking lot, but they were closed! They had just closed at 6 PM. It was unfortunate because the window displays had cute items that we wanted to check out.
I would visit this park again on a nice day. In the winter they block of the access area to the falls, but you can enjoy the views from afar. It also gets very windy and cold in this area during the winter.

This place is awesome. The views are totally worth the trip no matter how far it may be. I've been trying to come here for years. I'm glad I finally did. The waterfall area is absolutely amazing and peaceful. Photo taking places all over the place. It's definitely a wonder of the world. It's very, very busy and the parking is horrible and very expensive, 25-40 $. As well as the gift shops are expensive. Very very crowded all over the place top to bottom of the falls. Huge tourist attraction with a lot of people traffic and car traffic. Even with all that, it's still one of the best things I've ever seen as a waterfall.
Very cool to see the power of water here. Dog friendly which is great and so much to see. The Canadian side is definitely better and it was packed when we got there at 9am. Lots of tours. So definitely suggest getting there even earlier if you can say arriving at around 7 am to beat the crowds and be able to get parking as we had to park a little bit further away, but it was still free
Arghh! How shall I put it? This location is incredibly stunning, gorgeous, and amazing. The 8-hour travel was definitely worthwhile. There are fireworks around 10 o'clock as well; get there early because it will be packed. The falls will display some colors as part of the performance. There are also several trails. It's also disappointing that none of the shops inside the park accept cash. I advise you to carry your own water. The park is clean. Additionally, you won't regret taking the Maid of the Mist if you can.
Well worth the stop, I'd recommend an evening visit to catch sunset over Horseshoe falls and a morning visit to ride the made of the Mist. Leave yourself time to walk across Rainbow bridge to spend some time on the Canadian side. Even if you don't spend much time there the view of the falls is different (better?) and worth the walk over and back.
