Akron Falls Park

A well maintained park in Akron. Beautiful playgrounds for kids, trails for hikers, and picnic spots for families. Akron Falls Park is not just a natural beauty but also a piece of cinematic history, having been featured in ‘A Quiet Place I and II’. Best to visit after heavy rain or during to enjoy the roaring waterfall.
Niagara Falls State Park is a stunning natural wonder that offers a variety of attractions and activities for visitors of all ages. It is the oldest state park in the United States and the birthplace of the American conservation movement. It is open 365 days a year, 24 hours a day, and has no admission fee.

The park allows you to get closer to the falls than anywhere else. You can experience the power and beauty of the falls from different perspectives, such as the Maid of the Mist boat tour, the Cave of the Winds, the Observation Tower, and the Goat Island bridges. You can also enjoy the scenic views of the Niagara Gorge, the islands, and the rapids from various hiking trails and picnic areas.

The park also features interactive exhibits, historical monuments, and educational programs that tell the stories of the falls and its people. You can learn about the history, geology, culture, and ecology of the falls at the Niagara Adventure Theater, the Discovery Center, the Aquarium of Niagara, and the Schoellkopf Power Plant Ruins. You can also witness the spectacular illumination and fireworks shows that light up the falls at night.

The park also has a range of dining options, from casual to fine dining. You can savor a delicious meal with a panoramic view of the falls at the Top of the Falls Restaurant, or enjoy a snack at one of the many concession stands throughout the park. You can also shop for souvenirs and gifts at the park's gift shops or at the nearby Old Falls Street USA.

Niagara Falls State Park is a must-see destination for anyone visiting Niagara Falls, USA. It is a place where you can immerse yourself in nature's wonder and discover its fascinating history and culture. It is a place where you can create unforgettable memories with your family and friends..
Riverway Parking Area is a convenient and affordable option for parking near Niagara Falls State Park. It is located just off the northbound Niagara Scenic Parkway, near the Aquarium of Niagara and the Schoellkopf Site. It is open seasonally and has no established fees at this time. The parking lot is spacious and can accommodate automobiles only; no RV or bus parking is allowed. From the parking lot, it is a short walk to the park entrance and the waterfalls. I found the parking lot to be clean, safe, and easy to access. I would recommend Riverway Parking Area to anyone visiting Niagara Falls, NY.
