Good place and ambiance
One of the most consistent NYC galleries for bringing brilliant new talent to light and representing work by such notable and iconic artists Kath Bradford, Xylor Jane, Denzil Hurley and the incomparable Joan Snyder.

A vital contemporary art gallery. I’ve seen them grow from their first beginnings and have reviewed a number of their exhibitions along the way. They should some wonderful artists including Elisabeth Kley and Katherine Bradford.
New location of a Long running NYC institution representing amazing artists.
Great space. Ground floor, white walls, concrete floor with mismatched gray paint. Whole place smells like a studio. Paint & plywood. Work consists of emerging/established artists, often working in NYC. One of the essential stops for LES gallery hopping.
Neat space... inaccessible artwork. The gallery space is inviting enough... but the art on display lacked any type of approachable aesthetic.
Of course this place is awesome!!! After all, my sister Katherine Bernhardt exhibits her artwork here! Go Canada Gallery, and go Katherine!
I have been following this gallery for over 5 years. I have seen consistently good- although challenging, art there, with an amazing rise in critical attention. This year alone every show has garnered rave reviews in major NY journals.CANADA GALLERY has solid art, with very solid investment potential and undoubtedly a cutting edge and inspired establishment.
