We stopped in here after the farmer's market today. Such a warm and welcoming atmosphere, the owner came right out and spoke with us and took our order. Lunch is take out only but she said we were more than welcome to sit and eat the food. We ordered mango lassis, beef and potato curry and classic chicken momo stir fried with vegetables.
The flavor of the chicken momo just steamed is already incredible, but stir fried with a light sauce and tender vegetables it was on another level. The beef and potato curry tasted unbelievable. Potatoes were tender not soggy, and the beef was perfectly portioned and soft. The curry sauce is seasoned so well, the rice is a great balance. The food is out of this world and I would highly recommend it to anyone who hasn't tried this kind of food before. The dishes we ordered were mildly spicy, nothing crazy. There is extra chili that is very hot available at each table if you want an adventure! Cannot say enough good things about the service and the taste of the food.

What a hidden gem! Discovered this place when travelling thru the area. It came up when we searched vegan food. The server Matt was amazing. He explained the menu and was warm and friendly. He was quick to make sure we ordered the right amount of food when I commented I wasn't feeling well. Suddenly 2 complimentary soups appeared followed by a hot tumeric tea. He explained it was the end of the night and the tea would be thrown out anyways. The food was delicious.. We got the Thali Balanced platter which was essentially a sample platter. They offered to switch the rice pudding dessert for some fruit to make it vegan. Our experience could not have been better. We didn't order alot which allowed us to leave a generous tip. We had a great experience and if we lived in the area, this would become a staple restaurant.
Please don't hesitate to go ... It's worth the experience. Thank you to Matt and staff... We had a great time.

One of the top southeast Asian cuisine in Madison. #1 for chai and #1 for momos. Definitely dine in and get the veggie thali for best experience!
I really enjoyed getting some dinner here! The momos were great, and so was the service! Highly recommended!
My mom and I stopped in on Thursday to get a small bite to eat and I loved all of it. I had the chai tea and it had such a nice sweetness and flavoring to it. We ordered the beef dumplings and they were everything I wanted out of a dumpling. Our server was also so friendly. Will definitely be going back.
Amazing food, great atmosphere, super waiter.
Stopped in for dinner since we were in the neighborhood and the restaurant had great reviews. The reviews were true! We had appetizer and two dinners and the total price was $40. The appetizer (phing alla) was delicious and just the right size for sharing. The dinners were top notch. We had veggie Mimo and shogo phingsha. My only mistake was not getting the tingmo instead I got rice. My wife and I are already talking about going back.

I can’t praise Little Tibet enough but in this review I will try to do justice to the delicious food, cozy atmosphere, and great service.
We started our dinner off tonight with Bhajia paired with tamarind sauce. Crunchy on the outside, light and fluffy on the inside, these were so addicting, one order may not be enough.
We then moved onto the steamed chicken MoMo. From the filling, to the dumpling, to the sauce, these are all around delicious. Great comfort food that leaves you happy and warm
after eating them.
Finally, we had the lamb curry with a side of rice. This had a great level of spice that was perfect to cut through the first chilly fall day of the year. The lamb was delicious, super tender, and packed with flavor.
To top off a great meal, everything was very reasonably priced with our meal coming to $40 for all three dishes and two Chais. Our service was fast and we were never left wanting for anything. The whole restaurant smells amazing and is very cozy. A perfect oasis on any day of the year.

There people are super nice. You should just be prepared to place your order at the counter during lunch. It was not bad at all doing that. The food is always excellent. The ambiance is peaceful and pleasant. I need to go here more.
