Much hope was had for this place.. It definitely has the potential, but unfortunately it did not live up to that potential. The staff is incredibly difficult, and not transparent whatsoever. Walking in we expected great authentic Italian food, but that was not the outcome we received. The food was boring to say the least. Being in a reputable restaurant, that you most definitely are paying for, you would expect above average cuisine… Instead we were met with basic, overpriced, and flat out offending standards. I rarely write reviews, but leaving this restaurant I knew I had to leave a review for other patrons. I can’t say that I would recommend for upcoming patrons.
Disappointed by the lack of professionalism in this environment. Our server was great, but those above her, not so much… The food was beyond basic, and for the cost of a single entree, you would expect more of a taste when you took a bite. Overall will not be returning and will not recommend.. There’s loads of Italian restaurants throughout the city, so I will be choosing elsewhere from here on out.
Delicious food from this Albanian owned Italian restaurant. Service was great as well. My wife and I really liked her veal parmigiana and it was a pretty good sized portion. My eggplant rollatini (as good as it was) was a very small portion - two pieces each the size of a pill bottle. It’s not like eggplant is that expensive for a restaurant to purchase. Every other Italian place I ordered it from gave me much more
Came here for restaurant week. My group of five was sat in a private room. We were about 10 minutes late for the reservation because of traffic. Service was okay. We had to ask multiple times for simple things like water, ice for wine, and butter for bread. Food was average. However, we were not informed of the party coming in and we had not even been in the restaurant for an hour and thirty minutes when we the party came in and we were shooed out. I would have been able to understand if they let us know before we sat, that a party reserved the room, but they did not. There was four courses to this meal, and we needed to take our time and eat. I wish they would not have allowed the reservation because of the party, or at least gave us a warning. We could have ate at a different Italian restaurant, and it may have been a better experience.
This place is extraordinary especially with their customer service! From the servers to the busters to the hosts, they are all phenomenal employees! They definitely have been treated well and with good treatment comes great food!
As a person with prior experience in tasting different European cuisines, this place is definitely on my go to list if I want exceptional service and food.
Furthermore, this place isn’t even as popular as some of them on Chesnut or Walnut street. It isn’t too crowded here and service is fast and polite! The food is also not a long wait compared to higher traffic places.
Again, I would highly recommend!

I came here for restaurant week and the food and service was phenomenal! The restaurant is very cozy and lively and the service was amazing. The hostess was very accommodating as I needed to push my reservation back almost two hours later. She seated us quickly even though there were a line of customers out the door, which I really appreciated. The chicken fantasia and tilapia entrees were the best, followed by the mussels appetizer. The tiramisu and tartufo were really good. Overall I recommend coming here for good authentic Italian food and great memories!
We came for restaurant week so I can only give a review based on that experience. The eggplant was good but the entree and pasta sampler were just okay. Kind of lacking any flavor. The mussels were not good. Since we had a group of 6, they also brought out a sampler for dessert instead of letting us each choose what we wanted and didn't tell us before hand. I've just had better restaurant week experiences elsewhere.
Exceptional environment and some of the tastiest food I've ever had! The freshness and quality of the food was divine! Noneof our dishes were heavy at all. All very light and packed with incredible flavor! A must if you come to Philly!
