Aba is the best food I've had in Chicago, no competition. Short-rib hummus and black garlic shrimp scampi are must-haves, and the chocolate cake blew me away!!! Excellent service and beautiful decor, you can't go wrong with a dinner here.

Aba is one of my favorite and personally highest rated restaurant ever! The service is amazing, the food is just mouthwatering, smells amazing, and delicious. The drinks are a nice pairing to their shared platesu. The indoor dining room is lively while the outdoor patio is bright and lush. I’ve dined both inside and outside.

Their brunch menu is also very good — to be honest without drinks their brunch is very affordable!

Aba has been on my list since they opened up a location in Austin a few years back. I never got a chance to visit the Austin location due to it constantly being booked, so when I was visiting the Chicago area and was looking for a happy hour spot I'm glad this popped up on my OpenTable. I was able to make a reservation, enjoyed a few happy hour priced drinks and the food was fabulous. Along with an amazing view, I'm glad I was able to try the original Aba restaurant for the first time.

Rarely do I just hand out perfect 5's. Aba is definitely an exception to this as they go above and beyond to make sure you have the best culinary experience they can achieve. The food is amazing quality, and everything I've tried so far has been extremely well seasoned and cooked perfectly. The cocktail, wine, and specialty beer selection have so many choices for any meal pairing occasion, and the service makes you feel like you're right at home with some of the most professional waiters/waitresses and Chefs in the business. We need more restaurants like this in the city.

As expected, Aba was beautiful with an indoor-outdoor lay out that is perfect for summer. To eat, we had the Smoky Garlic Hummus, Whipped Feta, Green Falafel, and Brussels Sprouts, all of which were tasty and perfect for sharing. To drink, we had the One for the Road mocktail. Our waitress was wonderful and apologetic, however, overall service was slow. 15 minutes after the time of our reservation there were still no tables for us and the hostess said there was no telling when we’d get one. We ended up sitting on a couch, which was fine, but we were confused what the point of the reservation was to begin with. Overall, the ambiance is amazing and the food is good, but the service was so-so.

We visited as it was on our list for a long time as the reviews are really great. The ambience was great. Service was really good.

But we didn't find the food to be great. The Grilled Chicken Kebab plate felt like it lacked flavors. The Kebabs were hard, chewy and dry. The Chicken Kefta plates also felt like the same.

I think it was not our day. I don't believe what we tasted today is what the restaurant offers else there won't be such good reviews. Unfortunately, my reviews are based on what I experienced today.

We had a wonderful experience at Aba celebrating my daughter’s Birthday! The food was very flavorful, the drinks were perfect, the service was great, and the atmosphere was beautiful! Definitely worth coming back to! I highly recommend the lamb chops, everyone loved them!

This restaurant is a hybrid of Lebanese and Greek cuisine with a California twist. The food was great, the interior was amazing, but the service was a bit lacking. We tried an assortment of plates. The popular crispy short rib hummus was not quite as good as I thought it would be because it tasted like french onion soup over hummus, a bit too sweet and too overwhelming that the hummus flavor was lost. But on the other hand, the whipped feta was out of this world! Every other dish we ordered was on point! Delicious, zesty, Mediterranean flavors galore with some unique twists. All in all, I really enjoyed this spot and I would highly recommend it to anyone. This place suits families, friends, and dates well. Five stars for me!
