Light bites and tasty beverages make this a wonderful place to stop in for a quick break from shopping 😉
I don't recommend this place especially if you have other options. This place is a last resort and you're better off buying gelato with your money. Service is poor, server was rude. Literally told me to "chill" since I removed my card early when making payment. Saw the low rating for this place after having to repeat my drink order and pointing to the menu since my server didn't know the name of the beer that was on the menu (Damm Lemon). Hesitated to order more tapas and was glad it didn't because the string fries with some shredded preserved pork and an egg was cold and a waste of money.
Totally 0. Big disappointed about the food and service. Quality and cooking was really disappointing

The place is looks amazing, but the food isn't worth the price. All of the meals are really small, and for example "Pan con Tomates" is just 4 pieces of bread and 2 tomatoes. And "patatas paja" is tiny fries with a small egg in the middle and little bit of ham. The staff doesn't smile and when we asked to split the bill (we were 10) the waiter blew like we were asking him to run a Marathon and told us they wouldn't split it. You got some better places to spend your money. The Five Guys is 50m away and you'll get way more for your money.
3rd day visiting Barcelona, and this had to be the worst tapas place I've been to. Razor clams came out tough and chewy. Bread with tomato came unprepared, I had to cut the tomatoes and season the bread myself. Bomba was cold. Egg with crab meat, tasted like "krab" meat. Cava and service was good though. The atmosphere definitely draws people in.
Most of the time you have to wait to be seated. There is a lot of tapas to choose from, either hot or cold. We have tried several, and they were very good. Service is very fast. They speak English and are willing to help. Atmosphere is a bit like fast food restaurant and this maybe has the effect on overall impression.
We came at about 7pm on a Saturday and there was already a line of 5 people outside. The wait was long even though there were 6 tables free, but we expected it based on previous reviews.
When we tried to flag the waitress, she ignored us, went to the bar counter, put her head in her hand and shook her head. She obviously then muttered something to her boss because he gestured to us to be patient. We would have understood if she simply asked us to wait. She was polite enough when taking our order but had already made us very uncomfortable.
We only ordered two tapas to test things out and were glad we didn’t order more. The “shoestring fries” had a texture that made it seem like it was fried hours ago (somewhat crispy on the edges and almost rubbery towards the thicker parts; and cold). The crab filled eggs were mediocre and tasted like shredded fake crab sticks.

Nice atmosphere but food was very meh and quite expensive for what it was. It tasted fine but nothing special. The gazpacho was probably my favorite. I really didn't like the calamari. The cava wasn't especially good either. I'd probably choose a different restaurant.
