Can't miss the well-marked trailhead at the bridge over the canal. This is where you begin an intense climb. Stop and rest when you need it! The trail is not long - a few hours round trip - but it is steep.

Beautiful hiking area at all times of year. Easy access and parking. Short, vigorous climb to excellent overlook area. Trail varies from smooth to very challenging, staircase-steep rocks. Not for folks who need to avoid trip hazards. Trail is single-wide in many places with steep downslope.
