Please be careful… this is my second review, as I had to take down my first one due to a response from the owner where my personal information (information I put on the adoption application) was mentioned PUBLICLY! I had reached out via email multiple times, called, etc. no response was given and the owner did not take down the response. Had to delete my initial review to protect my identity/ remove my personal information. I thought it was strange, as not one other review has a response. I did just notice one, it was quite passive aggressive and unprofessional - but no personal information was shared. Anyway, I had gotten approved for the adoption but decided not to go through with it because of the invasiveness of these people. I have never experienced this elsewhere. You need to provide 2 references minimum - professional and personal. Very odd to need a professional reference in this case, but I was willing to comply. Also included a family member which informed me that the person asked extremely uncomfortable questions that I had already answered in my adoption application. As a young woman, they seemed to not believe that I own my apartment.. very very invasive questions - my mother was shocked! In addition, they require you to participate in a 75 min adoption seminar about cat care REGARDLESS of your knowledge and experience. I currently own a cat and have my whole life.. I explained that I am well versed in this area but they insisted that it was required. On top of this, they require a virtual home visit. Seemed odd to have a home inspection. As mentioned in my previous review, do not adopt from here if you’re a cat owner! These people will drive you nuts, invade your privacy, and/ or respond to reviews with confidential information (ILLEGAL). The whole experience was strange and unlike anything I’ve ever experienced. These poor kittens/ cats are missing out on genuine, good home because of how painful it is to deal with these unprofessional, passive aggressive people.
