We decided to check out China cottage for their lunch special on the weekdays. We fell in love with the chicken 88, and the chili chicken is also a great option here. You get a side of either soup/pop or spring roll with the lunch special. The total comes up to just under 12 dollars for the special.

The atmosphere was alright, nothing crazy and the service was normal. Again nothing amazing.
The food speaks for itself, one of the best places in Markham for Hakka food! Highly recommend!

We decided to drop by Taco Bell in STC today as we were craving something quick and cheap. We have had Taco Bell at other locations before and received service that was way better than what we experience at this location.

There was no line, so clearly they weren't busy. We ordered a Mexican pizza taco combo with supreme fries made with beans and drink.
They guy take the order was doing 3 other things at the same time while rushing us. Once they had taken the order we saw them make the order , it was very rushed, almost felt like they were throwing our food around. They didn't give us any napkins in the bag.

We sat down to enjoy our food , there was many things missing on both the pizza and fries. Beans were old, cheese wasn't melted, fries aren't cooked properly. A Ve egg disgusting taste left in our mouth. We had to throw everything away after eating half of it as we were really hungry .

If I could I would give this place zero stars, do better Taco Bell

Cypress mountain is one of the views you must go see when visiting Vancouver ! Not a far drive from the city and close to Stanley Park. You do have to drive up a mountain so winter tires are the law in the winter and drive slow. There are many lookout points and even a restaurant at the bottom before heading up. You may find wildlife such as deer and bears. It gets colder the higher you go so bring a jacket!
