Lake Superior Railroad Museum
This place will exceed my expectations! There are so many different types of trains to climb into, push buttons and pull levers and start the wheels turning on one if them. There are supplemental videos and informative signage.
Besides the train there are little and gigantic accessories and pieces from salt 1900s (hand car, crane for picking up topped carts, dining cart and railway China collections, giant slag transport car, experience lantern display... And SO much more! Just when you think you've seen everything, you walk outside and there is an entire yard full of other trains!

Time Out Sailing
Master Captain Jake was a wonderful host and tour guide. he took care to assess our level of experience, exposure and tolerance for adventure. 😏
Jake has a life full of entertaining and engaging stories and is very knowledgeable of the area, the industry and the equipment and vessels.
My boyfriend (with the sailing experience of years past) was able to steer and help make the sharp turns required. I took plenty of pictures and had a few snacks. If you wanted Jake to do all the sailing while you nosh on some charcuterie and vino, Jake can clearly take care of it all.
We came back into the harbor right in front of one of the big ships then "stepped aside" and watched it pass and navigate to its destination...pretty cool experience with unique perspective.
We had hoped for a sunset but the clouds did not cooperate... and it was a fantastic experience regardless. Thank you!!

Uplifting decor, acknowledging "the struggle" and offering some encouragement. 🥰 Nice patio (weather rolled in and foiled my outdoor dining plans, but it hasn't ... 🌞🍹)
Nice little assortment of sandwiches (most can be made as GF wraps...I had the Cubano as such), flatbread, "adult lunchables", a couple salsa and unique cocktails. Lovely staff.
I was"forced" to stay due to downpour and therefore also tried the macron assortment (for those weekly know, fresh and legit!).
