I absolutely love this place. The people here are so friendly and kind. I've always felt welcome, even when I was new. The Society offers monthly luncheons, which serves food normally cooked in-house. Each month has a theme and you get to celebrate Japanese holidays. I've had the pleasure of taking Japanese lessons at their language school and it was such a positive experience! The classes aren't easy, but every sensei I've had took their time to make sure we received quality lessons. They are all excellent teachers and I enjoyed my time with them so much. The Society also puts a lot of work into the Japanese Spring and Fall Festivals at the Fort Worth Botanic Gardens every year, so please go support them if you can! This is a great organization, aimed at teaching people about the Japanese culture and I look forward to what they do next.

If they had one of these in Fort Worth, I'd have a serious, delicious problem. I loved this place so much!! I like that you get to see the food on the line before you order. They offer tempura and korokke and other side dishes you can add. It's somewhat cafeteria style, but it was quick and easy to go to. The udon noodles were thick and tender, and the broth was full of umami! I highly recommend if you're an udon fan in the Carrollton area.
