Great experience overall! Incredible food and good value.
Food:
The four-course tasting menu offered a lot for the price. The appetizer trio was light and balanced – a great start to the experience.The subsequent sushi plate was excellent. Each piece had a unique combination of flavours and the ingredients used were all flawless. The Minami roll and hamachi were especially notable.
The main course was very thoughtfully designed and was executed very well. The mushrooms were definitely the star of the dish and, paired with the sauce, had a very rich flavour that was very unique. The desert also showed a lot of finesse and the chocolate sponge was balanced nicely by the mango and passion fruit
Service:
The staff was friendly and accommodating. Service was fast and overall hospitable.
Atmosphere:
The interior was modern and spacious and the lighting was moody but not too dark. However, the bathroom was average at best.
Overall, a great restaurant with a stand-out tasting menu for a reasonable price. Would go again.
