1940 Air Terminal Museum

I've been meaning to visit this museum for a long time and I finally had the chance to do so recently. For history lovers, this place is phenomenal. As soon as I stepped inside the building, I could smell history. The structure is definitely old and dated but this only makes it more attractive and interesting. My favorite part was stepping inside the historic airplane in the back of the museum and watching modern airplanes take off from Hobby Airport. I really enjoyed my visit and highly recommend this museum to all Houstonians and history buffs.
Washington National Cathedral

Beautiful and peaceful place just outside of downtown DC. It is still a place of worship so make sure to be respectful during a visit. I visited on a Sunday afternoon when the admission and parking are free of charge. I also had a drink at the café and it was an excellent energy boost. My husband and I had a lot of fun looking at the different gargoyles. This cathedral is absolutely breathtaking on the inside.
Philadelphia Old City Souvenirs and Gift

Cute souvenir shop right in Old City Philadelphia and it's an easy walk from the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall area. The prices were reasonable and the products were excellent quality. The manager was pretty busy on a business call when I checked out but she still gave me a smile and packed my purchases very well. I highly recommend this souvenir shop.
This museum was at the top of my to-see list for my Philadelphia trip. It is so informative and interactive. You will learn loads and loads of Jewish American history. It is a large museum and there is a lot to see. It is free entry but they take donations. The gift shop in the back is well stocked and has lots of options. I had an amazing time here. I spent about two and half hours and the time was well spent.
Edgar Allan Pоe National Historic Site

As an avid reader of Edgar Allan Poe's work, I had to visit his house during my day trip to Philadelphia. The employees were very sweet and helpful. The house is small and can be completed in 15-20 minutes. There's no admission fee either. My favorite part of the house was the cellar --- so creepy and chilling, just like Poe's writings. I had a wonderful time here.
