Superb. Collections of great art in all formats from around the world...unparalleled anywhere else. Sine qua non. Always a uniquely curated show to take in; the collection of impressionist paintings among the best in the world; the American experience of decorative arts and development from 1750-1830 a unique synergistic presentation; you like: textiles? Egyptian art, Nepalese alter sculptures? Georgia O'Keefe? Edward Hopper? August Renoir? Georges Seurat? Ancient sarcophagus? Photography? It's all here

Went to their annual Holiday Lights show. Well worth the $18 adult entry donation, which directly benefits the Garden. Situated on a high hillside overlooking Boise, is quite the sight at night. Family fun, lots of warming holiday fires, hot cocoa and cookies for visitors. Photo ops galore, especially the Candy Cane Forest. A delightful visit.
Some of the trails might accommodate wheelchairs; however, it might be difficult to navigate in dark, with rocks, going uphill, and crowds.

The park is definitely a good place to get in some running trail miles underneath a canopy of shady trees beside Holmes Run. Especially of value during the hot humid summer time. This is a safe well-used park area with just the right amount of traffic so you don't feel too crowded yet good to not be isolated. If you want a longer run over five miles you'll need to consult a map and be familiar with connecting roadways to plan a route, especially if you're cycling. If you're walking and/ or have kids, lots of playground type stops along the route in the park and lots of connector access paths from the urban neighborhoods lining the park area.

This is a popular place to walk through, many locals choose this site as their preferred dog-walk route. It also adjoins a small woodland park. On a typically hot and humid summer day, this place offers cooling shade and a paved pathway for easy navigation, including on bike. It also offers a running loop which the nearby TC Williams cross-country teams regularly use in season. Plenty of parking.
