A standard Roman subway station. Somewhat rundown, but nothing too egregious. Would certainly benefit from some minor renovations and restoration of the park, but still an acceptable place to pass through.

Huge open space, well maintained and nearly deserted on a beautiful weekday afternoon. An excellent spot to escape and just enjoy the weather.

I really love this station, it's location is not the most useful, being relatively close to other better connected u-bahn stations. But it's setting is perfect, sitting just inside Stadtpark it feels urban and clean and open.

Otto Wagner's pavilion as an entry gate works perfectly in the setting.

They had the specific knick-knack I was looking for and were pleasant and quick to ring it up. What more can you really ask for in a souvenir shop?
