I had really high expectations, and sadly it just didn’t deliver.

The star of the show was the ceviche which was absolutely phenomenal.

I also had the braised belly which was okay, but there was nothing particularly amazing about it. The fried chicken was cooked wonderfully but the sauce it came along side with was so insanely salty , that you sort of just had to have the chicken on its own. Which didn’t taste of much. The cabbage was nice.

Honestly the biggest let downs were the citrus salad , which I suppose for some , it depends on your preference my party and I found it so flavourfully overwhelming that nobody ate it, and anything it came into contact with on your plate just also wasn’t really enjoyable to eat. Also the aubergine honestly didn’t taste of anything - and I had heard good things about it, and was looking forward to it but :( the greens that it came with were just standard herbs no flavour otherwise

I wouldn’t say service was particularly great
either - though I do commend the waiter who brought , our food to the table, telling us what to try with that, it did mean a lot. But the initial waiter didn’t really give any advice or suggestions on what to have.

I know this place has such a reputation so perhaps we just got them on an off day.

I’d advise asking questions about your food and figuring out what you like , sweet , spicy etc. Cocktails were nice !
