Aster Hospital
We travelled from afar to try this hospital over other ones that were much closer.
In all, we were there for two hours.
It is a big hospital and so this is perhaps why the waiting time was longer here than other private hospitals.
We came for an appointment at 4.40pm and left at 8.20pm.
The worst part was waiting at the radiology reception. The lady said it would take 10 minutes for our report, but nothing came 30 minutes later and we were left to sit without any update. We stood to enquire behind the customer at the desk, but then she called another customer ahead of us, when she knew that we were unsettled after a long wait with a small child who was hungry and tired. She was very rude. It is the kind of service you’d expect them a public hospital in the villages of a town in a third world country.
Next time, we will just stay local and go to one of the many private hospitals nearby. There are certainly many better choices than Aster and this experience taught me that.
