Please note: they do not accept payment by card, only cash.

I really enjoyed the wild boar dumplings, those with prawns and ginger, and those with beef. They are famous for dumplings, but there are also other dim sum and some mains on the menu.

Quick and friendly service, and I really appreciated the open kitchen.

Average spend per person: €20-25

I have mix feelings about this place. I was fascinated by the decadent allure of this sushi imbiss, but when the food arrived and I tasted it, to quote Marie Kondo, it didn’t bring me joy. I had high expectation but I don’t think I will be back. The sushi was ok, the owner lovely, but it didn’t make the cut for me.

I can’t explain how happy I am that Trove has opened in Ancoats where I work and live. I come here almost every day ( I know, I think I have an addiction for choux bun and éclair) and the staff is always so nice and welcoming: I feel at home!♥️
This place has everything I love:
- Scandinavian decor
- Main meals packed with dill
- Choux buns that are so light and full of filling that will make you feel in Paris if you close your eyes.
- Focaccia ( I am Italian, my heart melted when I saw it on your counter)
-They have POLENTA in one of the breakfasts ( if your are from north of Italy, or you have ever been you know what I am talking about)
- Soup of the day: forget boring, bland, watery soups. They are packed with flavour and you can even choose what kind of bread you want on the side.
-Asian flavours: Ok, the atmosphere is absolutely hygga and Scandinavian BUT they have two amazing asian options on the menu: Moroccan sausage and a bowl with kimchi and other delicious things
-Vegan options: I am not vegan but lots of my friends are and coming here means all of us can be extremely happy and satisfied with the food. ( I tried the vegan dessert, they are great but because my addiction to choux I will stick with them).

Thanks Trove, see you tomorrow!
BRYK BAR

one of my favourite cocktail bars in pberg. Famous for their smoked gin and tonics, the rest of their mixologists' creations are also really fantastic. In winter there is a lit fireplace that makes the place super cosy for a date or a girls' night out.

Wow. Finally a restaurant in Berlin with professional, adequate service and which has a cloakroom for coats.

The food: incredible. I haven't left a restaurant so happy in a long time, I think I almost cried over the aubergine crème brûlee and the kubaneh served lukewarm. We had three starters (beef tartare, sashimi, aubergine creme brûlee), two mains (ptitim and octopus) and a dessert (chocolate and olive oil mousse: to die for).

For all these courses, not including the wine, we spent €70 each. Considering the service, the portions and the quality of the ingredients, absolutely fair. I highly recommend it!
