Great location, superb for a coffee break whilst waiting for your kids’ classes. Offers the usual ya kun fare. Coffee is inconsistent, sometimes feel a bit bland or sour. Eggs are normal, toast are normal. Nothing fanciful but really pricey. 2 slices of kaya toast with coffee and eggs cost $5.60.

If you intend to head over to Manhattan, use the ferry as it is not overly expensive as compared to walking across Brooklyn bridge as the bridge is generally very crowded during summer.

If you miss a ferry, the wait can be quite long and there is no shelter. Ideally bring shades and wear sunscreen.

Authentic, local market with sells some produce, nuts, too many soap bars, handmade stuff. Some food trucks around for grub and beer as well. Worth checking out especially when the weather is good.

Some toilets are found in the adjacent building with many independent affordable art studios. If you live in Boston, do check out the art pieces here.

This area has a lot of history so make sure you are accompanied by a guide. Not much point trying to navigate the area yourself as you will probably miss quite a few important landmarks and interesting stories.

Well maintained area and nice walk up and down the slopes during summer or fall.

Way closer to the city than Narita. Pro-tip: always take a limousine bus as much as you can to and fro the airport and your hotel. It is mad to lug all your stuff up and down the trains and metro.

When departing the airport, the duty free shops at the different sides of the terminal stock different variety of food.
