I liked the beers here. It appears to be a local hangout with very little seating. People were enjoying the basketball games on the big screen. There were lots of dogs, which I love, and patrons standing at the high tables outside on the sidewalk. The interior is relatively uninteresting so I spent most of my time out front looking at the people dining at King Street Oyster House across the street. It’s a good location and they have a small beer garden out back. I tried the Oatmeal Stout. I’d say that it was very good. Good place to stop for a beer and maybe hang out with some friends while on your way to something else in the old downtown.

This brewery is quite an operation! Amazing views!!! Really great beers and good food choices. So much space. Dog and child friendly. Plenty of parking. Friendly staff. The view of the countryside below is calming. Fireplace was cozy. Award winning brews. Wine choices. Mexican food and pizzas available. Rental properties available. Warm igloos for winter time as well as fire pits with firewood. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating with a huge lawn. I wish that I lived closer and I would go there often. Highly recommended!

Dropped by for a taste of whiskey that I couldn’t find at the ABC Store. Friendly staff here with a large tasting room. Tried the Rye Whiskey with Hot Honey. A little burn from the chiles followed by the burn from the rye and then smoothed by the honey. Delicious combination!

Simply put, this is the best beer I’ve ever had. That is saying a lot. You will be drinking art and they never make the same beer again. It is always a once in a lifetime experience. I can’t really say any more.

This gallery features local artists and for the next six months will feature the founder Ann Herithas. She passed away recently and this is a memorial showing. She was an amazing artist that had a wonderful life and she dedicated it to developing the art scene in Houston. The started the Art Car parade and founded three art galleries in Houston and Victoria, where she grew up. Her work was mainly in collage and her art was both powerful and poignant. I enjoyed my time spent here and recommended stopping by.
