Nifty liquor shop adjacent corner joint serving their world famous Korean chix wings in varying degrees of soy, ginger, garlic spiciness. From drum sticks, wings, sliders, chicken katsu, this place has got the fried chix market cornered. If that wasn’t enough, they also have your fav Korean staples for those wanting something besides chix, which is probably the most amazing thing besides what they already have. This is a place where you come for real food, fun vibes and good times.

Old school Italian restaurant reminiscent of golden days when ppl dressed up for dining out right in Vienna where Sergio has been greeting patrons for 40 yrs! As you walk in, the entrance is adorned with photos of who’s who near and far. The restaurant is a time capsule of so much Italianess, one is transposed to Moonstruck. Our lunch was excellent where we dined on veal, seafood pasta, filet carpaccio and a bottle of Brunello. They served warm bread with olive and sun dried tomato tapenade, both excellent, that came with cheese, compliments of the house. After dinner we were gifted vanilla biscotti which were perfection. We opted not to finish our meal off with limoncello, since we both had to be back in the office, lol. This is a FANTASTIC place!

An institution in DC where those in-the-know come to bask in the historic tutelage of politics intersecting the news. Many an important people have come to enjoy power drinks and conversations. The mood upper echelon, the drinks stiff, the food all American faves. Seated deep and dimmed lights give just the right amount of anonymity when needed but where the room is lively abuzz still. Enjoy this distinct DC bar where commissioned illustrations on coasters have become world famous collector items.

Sette has been around for eons for DC, this is where we had our very first date 20 yrs ago. Over the years this establishment has retained consistency in creating delicious Italian cuisine. The ingredients are always fresh, the portions are ample, and the taste reminds me of what my friends nonna made when we visited. It’s a nice casual vibe w some upscaleness to it. At moment, it’s going through some major interior renovations so your options are Al fresco, period. Albeit, this is a place I’m glad it’s survived the many times of DC.

Excellent place! So glad I decided to stop by here before the movies. A nice spot to grab some authentic flavored Japanese food made by the divine team. I’m so glad this place has weathered the many storms in recent years. Lots of locals come here specifically for the many delicacies. I thoroughly enjoyed the okinomiyaki. It even came w the katsuobushi that freaks out many Americans because the heat from the food make the flakes move, seemingly alive, lol! It’s taste rivaled that of what I had in Japan most recently. The restaurant has an easy casual vibe, that can be enjoyed alone or w a group. The staff are friendly and helpful. Im going to make this a staple for every time I go to the movies!
