Edited (April 8, 2023): I received my passport yesterday. It took only 11 business days to get the passport. It was an express delivery service. I am very pleased.
Original Post: I went to apply for e-passport. Everything went pretty smooth. Took an hour and half to complete the whole process. The receptionist was really helpful and cooperative.
As long as you bring your application with the necessary documents, everything will be fine without any delay. Make sure you bring the copy of NID. They will ask for the NID number even if you use birth certificate number. I am glad that I had the NID copy with me. I had to write the NID number manually on the application.
The fingerprint and eye scan didn’t take that much of a time. They should put an instruction on how to put your fingers on the scanner, because you need to firmly press your fingers on the scanner in a proper way.
