Really wonderful omakase spot. The chef was friendly and so was the waiter. The menu was fairly traditional omakase but well executed. Highlights were the sea bass, scallop and the lobster(one of the less traditional rolls).

Did takeout and we all agreed the best was the lasagna sugo hands down. I’ve always been a lasagna fan so maybe I’m a bit bias. That lasagna was 5 stars. Then the other 2 pastas we got, paccheri and oxtail, were also really solid but nothing memorable. We probably should have gotten 3 lasagnas.

Sushi takeout review not sit down
Absolutely wonderful sushi. It’s very high quality. Highly recommend the futomaki’s. The kaisen don was really great too. Can’t fault anything. It’s expensive for sure but they sometimes have deals for takeout. So I was able to get half off and had to take advantage.

Absolutely amazing brunch. This is how a Michelin brunch should be. Everything was amazing from the eggs to the maitake mushrooms. Overall the meal was a take on a diy breakfast taco with eggs, beans and corn. We did an add on of the mushrooms and it was a wonderful call. The family style portions may seem large when they arrive, but it was not too big where we were stuffed afterwards. If anything we wanted more of the savory course because it was truly that good. My partner even said shes mad it wouldn’t be the same menu every week because she wants it again(the brunch changes every week). The sweet course was good. Wasn’t as good as the savory, but still good with this yogurt and mixed fruit bowl. And once again we did an add on, this time a chocolate chip brioche(needed more chocolate). Will definitely be back to see what more they have in store. Be it brunch or dinner.

Truly an experience where you’re transported outside of Toronto and into a traditional Kaiseki in Japan. From the moment you walk to the front of the restaurant the cherry blossoms outside the building bloom (as i went in late April. Just as they were blooming). There’s a magnificent entrance and walk to your dining room. As for the meal. The flavors slowly build up as the night goes on, each dish adding a bit more complexity than the last. From the food to the impeccable service, it’s an experience you will never forget. Amazing memories.
