Ki & Tye (BlackGirlsinNYC)

The elephant experience is so special. It’s clear that The Preserve deeply cares for the work that they do. This interactive and educational experience allows you to not only learn about Asian elephants, but get the know these three lovely ladies, participate in bath time, touch their feet, watch them create trunk art which you can purchase, and play with these gentle giants. A great experience for all ages.

We popped in for a quick bite after a show at ACL
Live. The kitchen was open on a Friday night until 10:30 which was great news. The drinks were good, but the food was a bit of a let down. The short rib gnocchi was much more oily than anticipated. This could be due to it being close to closing hours, but I was severely underwhelmed.

Popped in for a west African food pop up by Chef Nana Wilmot. The food was delicious per usual and this space is super cute. We’ll definitely swing back to Jet to try their menu and enjoy this little outdoor oasis.

This location is slow and the you have to repeat yourself a lot (BHH), but it’s still one of the nicer libraries in South Queens.
